Reading other reviews, I understand that this is considered everyday Chinese food and I can appreciate that. We did takeout from here late night, just before they closed. We got Mongolian beef with string beans and something with pork and lots of bok choy. Both came with humongous amounts of rice, enough to feed 3-4 people. Since there were just two of us we ate mostly the goodies on top of the rice. The beef was actually pretty tasty. I wanted the pork to be spicier than it was...
This is no doubt one of my favorite place for a perfect plate of wonton & char siew noodles. Simply love the texture of the char siew pork and chicken as well as the crispy fried won ton and boiled cooked won ton and the sauce/ flavor. we discovered this restaurant some years ago (recommended) when we were visiting Boston. The owner of the shop namely Paul Eng and his sometime assistant John Chong are ever so helpful and friendly and very prompt in managing their ever faithful...
This café was close to our hotel and received rave reviews for their crispy skin duck and pork. This café is popular with the Chinatown residents and had a steady stream of customers. The whole time we where there eating our meal, we were the only round eyes in the place. Chinese was the dominate language spoken, though many were bilingual and switched back and forth between English and Chinese with the staff. The combo of duck and pork was ordered, expecting something outstanding....
