A perfect place to try a typical American donut, they are huge and the dough is super spongy. Countless glazes and very good service, they don't have tables to sit at, but it's worth coming and giving yourself this great little tribute.

The sweet and salty sandwich was delicious. Donuts were great as well as the friendly service.

I literally come here every Sunday to get donuts and every time I come it must be me cause I see all these big donuts and everytime I get them they are almost half the size and when you spend $15 for 4 donuts it gets me mad! maybe I'll spend my money at another donut shop as every this happens‍....

The donuts are really tasty for a small little place it would be nice to be bigger and half a mini cafe. They should switch up their flavors and do different seasonal flavors and not the same cycle

On the way to Kane's Donuts, I was passed by a customer with a large bag of their product. I've ordered twice now for pick up. There are signs typed out in all caps asking patrons to please ask for assistance in claiming their pastries. French Cruellers are available on Fridays only, by which they mean Friday mornings (hint, hint). I found it light, but a little oily. My preference was the Creme Brulee, which was large and fluffy, coated with a layer of shattering sugar and filled with a pleasant custard. Too sweet for some, but just fine for me.

As always, great donuts. Also got a SEC on English. Horrible! Somehow it was undercooked and English muffin hard as a rock but not toasted. I'll stick to my Choco Frosted.

Doughnuts are so soft and fluffy. Had a sweet and salty sandwich. All the fillings were so good. I would have liked the cheese more melted, but it was good. There's an indoor place to eat next door. Staff was attentive and friendly. Really feels like a small town doughnut place.

The best donuts in town.Very good treatment from the workers, fast, loving and helpful.I especially recommend the classic soda donut which is around $3, an explosion of flavor in your mouth.

These were amazing. I woke up fairly early on a Monday morning and felt a donut hankering, so I wandered over to Kane's to grab some for me and my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality. We were staying near Boston Common, so this ended up being about a 10- to 15-minute walk through what I'm assuming is the Boston equivalent of NYC's Financial District. It was probably around 7ish but you could see a few early birds coming in to start the week, and it didn't seem as gritty/dirty as its Manhattan counterpart. Kane's was easy to spot. The interior space is relatively small; this is a to-go establishment, with nothing that I saw in the way of seating. Despite it being primo donut time in my view, there was only one or two other customers in there at the time and I was waited on promptly.I opted for a half dozen donuts. I'd done a bit of research beforehand and knew the honey glaze was a big seller, so that was procured. For my own personal enjoyment, I went with one of my faves, maple/bacon, as well as a strawberry frosted. Morally (when in Rome) I also purchased the Boston Cream and two other frosted options, including a Celtics-themed one.My donuts were excellent. The flavor was perfect, and the density was right on the money. I don't like a donut that's TOO airy/light (similar to a mochi donut, which is starting to gain steam in my neck of the woods) and I'm not crazy about super heavy, cakey donuts. These were just right, and very decent sizes for the price. I also liked that the bacon was broken down into bits (I've encountered a few of these with giant slabs of bacon), which made it easier to munch on. My chum gave the rest top marks, and also confirmed they had some staying power - they survived the trip back home and contributed to her caloric intake the subsequent day, still fairly fresh apparently. I've made the mistake of going into Dunkin Donuts after 2PM and the same-day donut situation is rough and way too crunchy. Not a problem here at all.The service was also top-notch. The fellow behind the counter was very friendly, helpful and patient (standing stoically by as I hemmed and hawed over my options). Everyone I interacted with was in a pleasant mood, despite it being Monday morning, the darkest of times.Huge recommend and would absolutely stop by if I'm in a situation again where I need to require early morning sustenance for my people.

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! I had been looking for a French cruller everywhere in the Boston area. and this place had them. The French Cruller is SO GOOD. And the jelly is really good too. These donuts are a special Treat. If you are craving a French cruller, it is worth the trip. I would definitely make a road trip to get a donut here. Highly recommended.

Amazing gluten free donut options! Never thought I’d ever have something on par with what I used to enjoy before having to go go gluten free…not only are their gf options delicious for gluten free, they’re some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Kane's has some of the best donuts my wife and I have ever had. Their sizes are staggering—I think the Apple Fritter was the size of my head. The flavors popped, and the cake donuts had an excellent, crisp outside. No joke, I might fly back to Boston just for these donuts.
