Came here for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's birthday with a party of 4 adults and 4 kids and we were able to enjoy a delicious meal to accommodate all our tastes. Ordered some skewers nonspicy for the kids (chicken, pork sausage, chicken heart) along with egg fried rice and steamed dumplings which they really enjoyed. Adults enjoyed drinks and skewers along with cold wheat jelly salad and the eel with cucumber salad. The chicken and lamb skewers were the crowd favorite. Service was great as well!
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is spacious and we had a party of 8 with 4 children (ranging age 2-7) and we were seating along the wall / bench on one side which worked great. They offered high chairs but we didn't need it. They also provided plastic plates and utensils and kid friendly water cups for all the kids.

The restaurant's decoration and ambiance are memorable—it really transports you back to ancient China! I loved the creative touch of the throne-style menu. I went during lunch to try their lunch menu with my friends. The prices were fair for the portion sizes. However, the food was overly salty; I found myself drinking more water than enjoying the dishes.

Love the ambience, perfect for a date night. Outdoor seating is nice on a warm day. The lamb pot is great, we got the large. Lamb ribs are good. White fungus salad is refreshing. Mixed mushrooms are delicious. The lion shaped icecream is so good! Yogurt parfait is good too. Chives were a bit chewy but we got loads of other dishes and weren’t disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant with attentive and friendly staff and great food. Decor and menu details are thoughtfully done, with paintings of the dunhuang caves as the backdrop. Menus are scrolls. Their whisky cocktail has a stone Lion ice sculpture in it! Very thoughtful atmosphere.
We ordered the lamb backbone hot pot and small was the right size for 3 along with grilled sides. Drinks are creatively named, but generally weak, which probably makes sense for the clientele. Staff were all quite friendly and were able to clearly explain the differences in dishes and make recommendations. We also stayed quite a while at closing and they were kind and good at communicating closing.
For the experimental diners out there: they have a skewer called lamb treasure that is crunchy and well seasoned and surprisingly so good. You might be able to guess what part it is if you’re familiar with Chinese euphemisms. Fun to order and try as a group! They also have classics like aorta, chicken cartilage, all of which is beautifully seasoned and fun to eat!

When I went there for the first time, I felt that the amount of lamb and scorpion was average and the taste was not enough. I went there again after a year. The second time I tried the lamb chops it was okay, there was enough meat. The roujiamo is okay. The grilled side dishes are only a small dish and the price is not cheap. They taste good. It was the first time that two people were not full for $75 per person. The second time was more than 200 for 4 people and I was quite happy eating. Mutton soup is average, no flavor Grilled squid is pretty good The milk tea is delicious and the skewers are good In addition, the front desk service was very good. Even after the off-duty time was 10 o'clock, we were still waiting for a while. The attitude was great. The atmosphere and decoration are also quite interesting.
