Kayuga in Allston is my go-to for late-night Korean BBQ and hotpot. The meats are well-marbled and the portions generous. I love the fun, lively atmosphere, especially with friends. Plus, they’re open late — perfect for satisfying midnight Korean food cravings!

Came here on a late night with my daughter . Food was great! We didn’t do BBQ but everything we ordered was awesome! I enjoyed all their appetizers and the sizzling gizzards was great! The Agedashi tofu really hit the spot! Their Maewoon Tang soup was full of flavor. Food was fast, service was great. Atmosphere was nice. Would definitely return and bring more people so we can enjoy all the great food. Parking was easy for us but we came on a weekday. There was only street parking. Restaurant was spacious and table and chairs was decent size. Highly recommended.

I've had this place a lot of times and honestly usually the experiences were good, but this time I developed severe food poisoning the next day. Landed me a trip to the ER at 2 AM. Please be wary, I got the Kimchi Stew.

Very good food, staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, good portion sizes. Really enjoyed the bulgogi and gyoza. Super helpful in packing leftovers.
Someone who worked there (maybe?) was watching a movie on their phone with really loud volume. Could hear it from across the restaurant.

We were here for the first time, but our friends visit this establishment very often and I understand why.
Everything was very good, the service was fast and high-quality. The owner is very pleasant and friendly, it was nice to meet and chat.

SUPERB SERVICE AND FOOD. Our server, Dan, gave us the best recommendations for appetizers, food and gave us a small history of the plates! I cannot recommend this enough. ask for Dan.

One of the not so many places in Boston that opens late.
Good taste, moderate price. Cozy atmosphere for gathering.

Walked in on a weeknight to a completely empty restaurant - no idea why it wasnt jam packed !! The food was amazing and was a typical price for what we got. The drinks were great as well. Our server offered to cook our meat for us and was attentive throughout the meal.

17 years ago I had a first date with an outrageously beautiful woman that is now my incredible wife - this date occurred at the incredible Kayuga. 19 when we met, we are still together and with two happy children. Kayuga is the literal birthplace of everlasting love and we still affectionately refer to this place as ‘Shmy-shmu-gah’
