The service was very long for food that came out cold, soggy and flat out horrible. They overcharge you through mandatory gratuity fees and service charges. Would never return

One of the worst Nachos I have ever had. It felt like I was chewing rubber. They seemed stored past a month. They charge 5% kitchen fees, mandatory tip and credit card fees over and above the price. It felt they are just trying to gobble up money here and there. I could forgo this part if food was impressive. But food was not fresh and very sad.

This place is wonderful! So fresh, healthy, delicious, and flavorful! We live out of state, otherwise we would become regular customers. La Catrina is a great find!

Only Pro: they have a vegetarian menu.Cons:- they ran out of guacamole. Yep. You read that correctly.- my burrito was cold. I asked them to take it back, the next one was clearly microwaved as the lettuce inside was lava.- my wife’s cauliflower tacos were so sopping wet you couldn’t hold them. The cauliflower was so spicy (and we love spicy food) it was barely edible.- service was abysmally slowNever again.

This lovely restaurant presents beautifully crafted and mouthwatering dishes! I especially loved the De La Casa burritos, and the Cuatro Leches & Churros were to die for. And of course chips and salsa were perpetually delicious! Friendly staff, wonderful service, and both outdoor and indoor seating. I will be taking my family here!~ The Jamaica and coconut margaritas were divine for summertime.

I discovered this place when my friend showed me a TikTok video of it, and I was intrigued by their plant-based menu, but I was a little disappointed by the food. I ordered two vegan tacos, empanadas, maduritos, and a jamaica drink. The tacos were alright. The tortilla was very dry, and it actually kept breaking apart when I was eating the coliflor taco. My friend ordered the carnitas tacos, and the tortilla also kept breaking apart. The seasoning on the coliflor taco is very spicy, which overpowered the flavor. I also wished the veggies in the veggie taco was cooked more to tender and had more seasoning. The dough of the empanada was also very dry, but the inside, which has corn and chickpeas was actually really good, and it was seasoned well with the poblano pepper and salsa fresco. The maduritos were also very dry, especially on the inside where I wished it was a little more juicy. The jamaica was decent. It's more sour and less sweet than the jamaica I usually like, but it was still refreshing. The service was pretty good, though, and our food came out relatively quickly. I might be back for the empanadas!

This place is great. Great veggie options, reasonably priced drinks and the food sure tastes good. But what appears to be reasonably priced, quickly adds up. You place the orders through the online menu via QR code, meaning the waiter is only bringing out the food once its ready. and each time you place an order, say if you want the mains and desserts separately you are charged a flat $10 service fee. Over and above taxes and regardless of your party sized. would honestly give it 4.5 stars since the host was so sweet and the food tasted great. But it definitely was more expensive than it felt like it was, we skipped dessert cuz we didnt wanna pay another $10 in service charge.

This place has delicious food! I loved the enchiladas Rojas. I also have a lot of vegan friends and they have so many great vegan options! Also the bathroom has a really cool sink. Very fun!!

Giving this restaurant a 2 star is generous to be honest, the lady who worked there was nice. The food was unfortunately not good, and the pictures on Instagram was deceiving. This place is not authentic, If that's what you are looking for. This is favorable for the white college kids in the area that might not be used to authentic Mexican food. I had three dishes; the bowl with the sweet plantains, carne asada mix. I had a 2 chicken tacos, pork with pineapple taco, and spicy chicken. The sweet plantains and steak were okay. No seasoning on the rice and beans. The guacamole was watery and lacked salt, i literally Took it off my bowl. The soft tortillas were literally awful, they were stale and had a terrible taste. Just tried to eat the filling, and that wasn't good either. If you order with the app, just prepare for no one to really come check on you. My husband and I had to walk in the restaurant on 4 different occasions to ask for help. This was a huge disappointment

The best burritos that I've had in Boston, period. So much flavor and I love all the different protein options. And a good price too!! Definitely coming back for more.

The food was provided in good quantity for the price paid and the taste was average.

I love La Catrina! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city for two reasons: the amount of amazing vegan options and their efforts toward sustainability. They do an amazing job with both. Their food is so flavorful! The only thing I would say is that the spice level is not consistent between times we order - I like spice so I don't mind but if you are sensitive maybe make a note when you order. Also the vegan chickpea empanadas are a must try! They have good drinks too!

Friendly waitstaff who will go the extra mile to make you something you would like!! Many "hidden" vegetarian or vegan dishes, and also the best steak tacos I have ever encountered (the meat is like butter). The margaritas are made in a traditional way (not so sweet !!) Which I just loved. It's not cheap but it's fair in price.

I wish I had chosen a different place to spend my hard earned money. I am super disappointed on the food, the quality, and presentation. The rice was super hard and the tortilla was burnt. I also ordered tacos and the presentation alone made me throw it away. I tasted it a bit and I should have trusted my eyes the first time. ?
