We realised we had made a bar reservation which we physically couldn’t manage so rang them early in the day to be assured we could have a table. When we arrived we were told there was no table available and was met with a complete indifference.

Food was great but a bit overpriced. The bread menu and desserts were a particular highlight. Dining room is pretty loud and tables are quite close together. Waiter wasn't as attentive as we would have hoped, didn't notice our drinks were empty and when we did order another round it was very slow

We had a wonderful meal for our anniversary at La Padrona. The staff went out of their way to make the evening special and memorable. While the food was excellent, what really stood out for us was how absolutely impeccable the service was. We left feeling grateful (if not full!) and eager to return.

Bucatini a la napolitana was disappointing. Not to mention they forgot to add the cheese on top. Worth the hype? Maybe. 70 -80 per person. We had a reservation and they made us wait for 5-10 min. They gave us champagne for the wait. Nice detail.

Went here because of its ranking in the New York Times list. Service was very good, the food was good, but not particularly memorable. Wine list was excellent. But on balance, we were surprised with all the hype. One notable negative was the noise level. Almost 90 decibels! It gets almost painful at this point. We were at a high top and we literally could not have a conversation because it was so loud. This causes everybody to yell to try to hear each other, which just makes it worse and takes away from the experience.

Beautiful ambiance with smoked mirrors, artsy lampshades, and upholstered wall panels. Service was attentive and efficient. Food was delicious! Hand made pasta and breads (they have a bread menu)! Favorite is parmesan tagliatelle with a touch of balsamic.
