They allow homeless people to harass you on their property. La Taqueria should be ashamed of themselves. The employees who work here laughed at me while the homeless lady threatened me. I called the police and left without ordering food.

Should have came here sooner! Best fish tacos in this area. I love the cilantro lime ranch. Ive eaten Mexican all around the city. Everything is made on the spot in front of you. This is my new taco joint. A+ flavor, staff and atmosphere. Get over here and try this!

They let a homeless man beg into the store, bothering clients while they order, just so that one of the customers pay for the single taco the guy is asking for. There is no line to order so clients get mad thinking they’re first in line. They charge you upfront so you can’t even check the freshness of ingredients, and prices are absurdly high. They reversed the tipping options order so that you mistakenly give them the default 22% tip. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.

They messed up twice and served me some meat that wasn’t what I ordered the second time… they wasn’t considerate of my time. Not cared to make up with the next order by serving me edible food. Smh NOT RECOMMENDABLE

The rice was overcooked the burrito plate was big(lot of food wich is good) but the chicken was hot and was put on top of cold toppings wich when I got home guacamole and pico were hot and that is not a good taste.. maybe if ya can put the chicken on the side and not on top of cold toppings... other than that everything else was great...

I ordered el pastor, and all three of us suffered exhaustive trips to the bathroom. I assume that the pork was tainted. Will think twice about ordering again. However I have ordered in the past without any problems. I’m sure that other people have experienced the same results from this batch of pork. To the owners, I say please be careful.

Compré unos tacos y sólo me pusieron 1tortilla y cebolla y si quería alguna salsa tengo que pagar aparte $6 por una tortilla sin salsa nada no recomiendo y la muchacha me dije que no le importaba muy mal servicio 🥱

this is my third time here visited when they first opened the food was great. tried again soon after and thought maybe i went to early in the day and possibly got chicken from the previous day as it didn't seem fresh. Normally i go to another place further down hyde park ave but didn't feel like driving to far so stopped here again ... ordered a chicken quesadilla ... the meat was dry i got guac, sour cream, pico and it came with lettuce.... just a very dry unappetizing meal i wont be back again. very unfortunate as they are the closer option.
