We had a disappointing experience at this place. The bartender provided great service, but one staff member ruined our night. At 1:35 AM, he rudely told us, “I will kick it out,” for no reason. We were a group of seven people, and according to Google, the restaurant closes at 2 AM—so we were shocked by this behavior. It was disrespectful and completely unnecessary. Because of this, we won’t be coming back

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Lansdowne was truly disappointing. The only saving grace of the night was the bartenders, who were friendly, skilled, and attentive—exactly what you’d hope for in a good establishment.
Unfortunately, our bouncer( Bearded guy) completely ruined the experience. From the start, he was rude and dismissive, but the real shock came when he told us, “I will kick you out”—an absolutely unacceptable way to speak to customers. His attitude was unprofessional, and his use of inappropriate language made us feel unwelcome.
A restaurant should be a place where guests feel comfortable and respected, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Management seriously needs to address their staff’s attitude toward customers. Until then, I won’t be returning.

Went to Lansdowne pub with some friends for a night out. The vibe was decent, drinks were fine, and the music was good. But the experience was ruined by the bouncer with the beard who kept reminding us that we had to leave by 1:30 AM in the most aggressive way possible. We get that bars have closing times, but there’s a way to handle it without making customers feel unwelcome.
Instead of a polite heads-up, he acted like he couldn’t wait to kick us out. Kinda killed the mood. If you’re looking for a chill place to enjoy your night without unnecessary attitude, this might not be it.
Would I come back? Maybe, but hopefully, management teaches their staff how to be a bit more professional.

Dropped by at 11:30pm and they wouldn't serve us. Said they were closed. Update hrs of operation so people don't waste time even though people were outside smoking.

I tried to go here last night with some friends and the bouncers accused my ID of being fake and said they don’t give back fake IDs. After some extremely rude comments from managers and multiple bouncers I ended up having to call the police. The bouncers wouldn’t let me stand anywhere near the side of the building while I waited for the police to come and it was around 26 degrees out so the wind was brutal. After a while of standing in the cold they realized I would not be standing there waiting for the cops if it was fake and gave me back my ID damaged and bent. They completely changed their tune at this point and were apologizing saying they are only trying to do their job blah blah blah. Maybe they should invest in a black box machine if they can’t accurately determine real vs fake IDs in a city with thousands of out of state college/graduate students. The floors are always sticky and the bathrooms have been disgusting every other time I have visited this establishment. I recommend literally anywhere else in the Fenway area.

It's impossible to have a 5-second conversation outside the door without the overweight bouncer thinking he's Superman and kicking us out of the bar. I wouldn't recommend it, the staff are not very understanding and are very haughty.

We arrived at 1 am ,after 15 minutes We just went out for smoking and the body guard who let us in at 1 am didn’t let us back in, he said we can’t enter after 1:15. , he was so rude
