Guy with glasses, ponytail and nose piercing cut my friend off after 1 drinks. Don’t know the reasoning. Either way, without the cut off thingy was extremely unprofessional and very slow. Me and my friends waited around 20 minutes per drink on a non busy night for this guy to serve us. After asking for his name he wouldn’t even give it to us, most likely due to him being scared of exactly this happening.

I questioned the bouncer for ID ing a 90 year old then says I can’t come in.
The location is perfect for dinner before a show at the MGM at Fenway. The inside seemed dark and cavernous but the outdoor seating was nicely done.
There is a good beer selection. We both had the corned beef Reuben, which was also good.
Service was the only disappointment. The menu offered grilled chicken sandwiches, as well as buffalo chicken appetizer. I asked if I could get a buffalo chicken sandwich and was told No, they can't do that, which made no sense. The waitress also asked if we wanted homemade chips or fries with the sandwiches and we got one of each. I was surprised when the bill came that I was charged $5 additional for choosing the fries. That should have been mentioned when she offered it. Does it really cost $5 more to make fries than it does homemade potato chips?

I went to Lansdowne last night with my boyfriend to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Neither of us were drunk or acting out. We simply walked in like everyone else around us after having our IDs checked and being allowed inside.
Moments later, we were aggressively grabbed by a second bouncer who had nothing to do with the original ID check. He forcibly removed both of us from the bar, putting hands on me (a woman) and shoving my boyfriend with completely unnecessary force. It was jarring, excessive, and honestly frightening.
When we asked why we were being thrown out, the original bouncer claimed it was because we didn’t pay the cover. No one told us there was a cover. We were never stopped or informed, and we would have gladly paid had we known. But when we explained this, we were told we weren’t allowed back in. This was even after we offered to pay, just so we could rejoin our friend for her birthday.
This entire experience was unacceptable. The bouncers were disrespectful, aggressive, and clearly not trained in handling situations with any basic decency or professionalism. There was no reason to use physical force, especially not on a woman, and there was no effort to de-escalate or even listen.
These bouncers should be fired. No one should have to experience this kind of treatment. This place does not deserve your business, especially if you care about safety, respect, or basic human decency.
