Fireballs are just the right level of spicy. The Arkansas sauce was incredible and the burnt ends were perfect as always!

Got the combo #2 had to try little bit of everything. Great portion size for the cost
Chicken wings were absolutely outstanding. Super crispy with a good seasoning so much juice where the juice and season mixed basically creating its own sauce.
Brisket was on pointnsuper tasty and moist
Pulled pork was great as well but I'm not a fan of vinegar based sauces as much but was still super tasty.
Mac and cheese hit the spot as usual.
Beans were good just not my style however they were full of flavor!
The owner was super nice and very professional. Will definitely recommend and return there again

This was absolutely delicious! I ordered the smoked brisket platter with Jamaican jerk sauce on the side, along with bbq spaghetti & collard greens. Portions were generous, food had great flavor and the brisket was tender & juicy.

This place is right across the street from the Renaissance hotel, so it was about a 2 minute walk. Customer service was great & they had my order ready within 10 mins. If you're ever in town, I highly recommend trying this gem!

Placed online order midafternoon, given reasonable pick up time and order was ready when I arrived. Ordered 1/2 wings with jerk on the side, wings tasted good and size of wings was on par with other establishments. Also had pulled pork sandwich with no sauce, food was nothing spectacular but of sufficient quantity and quality to earn 4 stars.

Got the burnt ends with Mac and fries. Burnt ends had good texture and great smokey flavor. Got a side of spicy bbq sauce which went together perfectly. The Mac and cheese was perfect.

This was my first time here and I’m going back tomorrow to try something new.

Never had a bad BBQ before until ordered sharebite from this place. Pork and brisket is very tough and has no taste. Never gonna order from them again

I had the opportunity to try the burnt ends, not something I’d normally try, but glad I did! They were amazing, juicy, had an amazing texture, and the flavor was on point. My only regret was wishing I had more. I also had potato salad which was also really good! If you’re in the area, Larry J’s is a must try!

Great ribs, great everything! Convenient walk up window in Boston's Seaport within walking distance from the Silver Line. Plenty of Outdoor seating. Try the burnt ends, just enough spice!

Bostonians don’t know good BBQ. This is good BBQ. Especially hard to find ribs around here done in this style - dry with a balanced tomato based sauce (I’m from the south, but not an expert, but I tend to think of these as Memphis style).

Placed an order from my hotel across the street. By the time I reached the lobby, I was texted my order was ready. WoW! thats fast. Food was really good. Had the burnt ends and Baked Beans. Some of the best beans I have ever had. Not sure if I will ever get back to Boston, but If I do, I will eat at Larry J's again.

The food tasted and looked old. The Brisket was tough, the burnt end was like a brick not edible, and the ribs were extremely bland. All the meat was dry and had no flavor at all. The meat was sitting and cooking in dirty smoke because it was very black. The mac and cheese was not good, and the fries were the only good thing to eat.

"Open" sign was on. Went during hours of operation, lights were on inside...no one came to take order.
If "Open" as sign indicated and during hours, have someone there!
