Legal Sea Foods - Harborside

We hadn't been to this location before, but we will definitely be back! Everything, from the food to the service, was wonderful. We did have a hiccup with my husband's piece of fish that seemed to be going over, but it was replaced with something else, and the original fish was removed from the check with no issue.

Always reliably good! Some new interesting menu options. Great service. Always fun atmosphere.

Brought my family of four to a Friday night dinner. Seating was great with a nice view of the harbor. My wife's Shrimp was really overcooked and very plain. Chowder and lobster bisque were both well made. My seafood tower was short 2 large shrimp. They brought 2 little shrimp to fix it. I had to ask for the correct shrimp. Overall, was a good meal but was hoping for a little better.

We had a reservation and were seated in the middle of the dining room with 3 kids under 10 at a round table flanked by other diners which was a tricky start. Service was slow throughout with poor energy. Our appetizer was inedible - 3 cones of buffalo shrimp in dried puff pastry, maybe 9 tiny shrimp total, not hot and not worth $22. Our server sent the manager over who only offered to communicate with the kitchen but did end up taking it off our bill. We would have welcomed a recommendation for something else. The fish tacos were soggy. Not what we'd envisioned with a reputable, albeit chain, restaurant.

We had a amazing experience nice quiet place to be during New Year's Eve. Couldn't ask for more. 

I came and the lady said to go upstairs and find a table. I reserved a window table months earlier and so it seemed that no one reserved my table. If it was busy I didn't have my window table. The guy with long hair and the beard barely spoke to me, just took my order. The linguine with scampi didn't have taste no salt at all, shame. I booked for the reviews but honestly it was disappointing. At the end the guy even didn't said thank you or Happy new year, I paid and when I didn't select the tip he highlighted that I wasn't tipping it, rude to me, and he left quickly not even saying thank you or goodbye. Awful customer service. At the end I choose your restaurant to spend the night.

Excellent spot for a business lunch. The view of Boston Harbor was spectacular. The service was on par and the lobster was so good it left me wanting more.

I was expecting a formal romantic setting with high end food given the location, and would highly recommend this restaurant during summer to enjoy the harbor view and outdoor eating. Great place and location for a younger and social crowd as date nights!

this was our first stop in boston, because our uber driver recommended the clam chowder. it did not fail! our server david was kind and made sure our table was always tidy. we were in and out within an hour and happy with the experience.

Gluten-free friendly! Can’t help that it’s a chain, but we had a solid experience. From out-of-state and two people could definitely split the fisherman’s basket.

This is hands down Boston’s best seafood spot. The lobster sandwich I had here? Best I’ve ever tasted! Loved it so much we came twice-if we’d stayed any longer, honestly, I’d have dragged you back every single day. Staff were proper friendly, kitchen smashed it, every dish was spot-on. Big thanks to the whole team-see you next time we’re in town!

The lobster was good and the waiter took it out of the shell, which was terrific. On the other hand, he had a very busy and demanding ten top next to us and they took most of his time and attention. Waited FOREVER to get a cocktail and also waited the same amount of time for a refill. The Husband's blackened tuna was cold and dry and tasteless and truly disappointing. We've been to other Legal Seafood locations before and have never had this poor an experience. Don't go here. Life's too short to pay good money for bad food.

It's not what it use to be. The menu is boring. We ordered some lobster bisque and was pretty bland, no one lobster morsel. The fish was ok (sole) seasoning was off, the sides were not appealing. Seems more like a fast food place now
