Lobster rolls were stuffed with 1/2 pound of lobster! The pieces were too! It is offered warm (lobster w/ butter) or cold (lobster w/ mayo). I had the cold and it was excellent. The roll was also very good. I had it with the coleslaw (this was a small portion) and fries. Fries were standard crinkle cut. Loved the coleslaw so much I ordered an extra side of it. Not mayo based, but not an overly strong vinegar taste. Highly recommend!

Wife and I went at around 3:00. We didn't want anything heavy because we didn't want to ruin dinner, but Legals was right there so we couldn't NOT eat there ?.Wife got the fish tacos which were DELICIOUS. She loved them!I ended up asking if it was possible to modify a salad by adding sautéed chicken. They were more than willing, and the chef came out to ask what type of chicken meat I wanted, how I wanted it prepared and if I wanted it sliced on the salad.I kind of felt bad for ordering something different, but the chef and waitress seemed genuinely excited to make what I wanted.It was delicious, chicken was AMAZING and the salad was so fresh and crispy with no bitterness or inconsistency. Everything was so fresh, and it made me unreasonably happy.They only charged me for a regular extra topping on the salad, too, so I made sure to leave a good tip to say thanks.

Service was awesome! The food not so much. Wife had the lobster roll, said it was bland and had to add a lot of salt. She’s a big sea food person but we never really go to fancy restaurants so maybe bland is the way lobster is supposed to taste?I had the steak, I don’t have high standard for steak in a seafood restaurant as it’s not their specialty. Taking that into account, the steak was also bland and lacked flavor. They give you 3 small pieces of potatoes on the side and asparagus. The potatoes were under-seasoned and left me feeling unsatisfied, I think offering mashed potatoes would have been a better move.Overall 3/5.

Oh, what a wonderful restaurant and a great dining experience. It was also Boston Restaurant Week, lucky for me. The ambience is perfectly lovely, and the service was thorough and kind. And the food was scrumptious!!! I actually dined at the restaurant twice in the same week (I was in Boston for business travel). And I had exactly the same dishes, and the quality was consistent. The portions are huge!!! I had the clam chowder (delectable), the fish and chips (incredible!), and the Boston cream pie (what's not to love?). I ate about 1/2 of everything, and I was not sad about it. Wonderful and convenient to my hotel, and I was thrilled with my guest experience.

I enjoyed a seafood sampler platter with cod, shrimp and scallops. Everything was prepared perfect and I especially loved the scallops. My daughter had the fish n chips which she enjoyed, I took a few of the chips and they were so yummy. All of the food tasted very fresh and I didn't leave feeling overstuffed.

I like the Long Wharf Legal seafood location because of all the amendments that surround the area to visit after a delicious meal. I love their food is always so fresh and the staff is really helpful. I love their bartender Josseline she’s really helpful and kind. This is one of my to go places for a nice summer outdoor lunch/dinner. Highly recommend

It’s hard to beat fresh seafood and Legal Sea Food knows just how to get the most out of everything they serve. The fisherman’s platter is enough for two people to share. The clam strips were my favorite! If traveling to the area, you have to add this to your list of eateries to try. If you’re local, welcome to a new regular spot!!
