We were able to get a last minute reservation and really enjoyed ourselves! Our waitress was kind and attentive, our food was delicious, and the views were calming. Wonderful experience!

What a massive disappointment. I have been coming to Boston on business for years and look forward to dining at Legal Sea Foods, usually Downtown or Wharf-side. My wife and I came here on holiday today. We went to Legal Sea Foods in Copley Mall. WHOA! Everything about it was horrible, except the great service. I have better meals at Red Lobster. The atmosphere was like a cheesy 1980’s restaurant. Totally devoid of character. Totally different from their other upscale restaurants that come with extensive wine selection and a chic atmosphere. Copley restaurant was awful! Their menu seems scaled downward in quality. Both my wife and I ordered a white fish that came with bland undercooked rice and flavorless steamed broccoli. It was almost as bad as a cafeteria lunch. The wine list was a hollowed out version of its former glory. My wife and I speculated that perhaps the original Legal Sea Foods has been acquired by some big chain. And indeed it was acquired by PPX Hospitality Brands (a portfolio company of Danu Partners) in 2020. I would never recommend dining there. So disappointing compared to its former glory.

I usually go to the one in Natick/Framingham which is far superior to this restaurant. The service was not go. The shrimp wasn't deveined.

We ordered the baked haddock. Unfortunately, the entire plate of food was undercooked. Could barely cut the broccoli as it was almost raw, and the fish tasted undercooked. We complained and mgmt brought out two new plates of properly cooked haddock.

Had a great lunch here recently. Went with a few Cotuit and Wellfleets oysters, Cesar salad, and an old fashioned.

Natalie was an awesome waitress. Very friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely loved the Clam Chowder and the service was so good!

Highly recommended by local friend because of fresh sea food which we like. The menu is sensible yet interesting with famous dishes like chowder and lobsters, but also a separate oyster menu of choices of oysters and specials. Fish and chips comes beer-battered or coated in crumbs. Everything hot on the plate except my half dozen oysters and a most pleasant lunch. The price is also reasonable for the quality of food. Joseph took us through lunch very efficiently even though he was nursing a wrist injury - hope all was well with his MR scan!

Strange location on top of shopping mall. Decent atmosphere, easy to talk. Server was good; hosts could have been friendlier. Outstanding lobster roll and street corn side.

Great seafood spot with a solid lobster roll deal!

Came here on a weekday and took advantage of the World Cup Lobster Roll Deal — definitely worth it! The lobster was fresh, perfectly chilled, and piled high on a buttery toasted bun. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the mall crowd.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Our server, Joseph, was very kind, personable and attentive. He made our dining experience exceptional and that meant a lot to us. I wish he could be our server at other restaurants too - he really was that good at his job! Highly recommend!!!
