Staff are usually really friendly but asked for extra chocolate in my drink today and got served by the rudest young woman who made passive aggressive comments and rolled her eyes. I even said it was only a matter of personal preference not an issue with the drink and she took it very personally! This is a shame because I normally rave about Levain but honestly don’t think I’ll go back.

Nice staff, expensive, coffee is absolutely disgusting. Burn beyond repair and for mocha they just use chocolate syrup in the bottom of the cup. The chai tastes watered down but is drinkable. Good bread

This bakery is everything and then some! The wait is worth it. Cookies are huge and perfect for sharing with someone and they also make a great birthday present or hostess gift >>>> always, but especially during the holidays! They really make a statement. Also, the banana 🍌 bread is the best I've ever had. Check this place out next time you are on Newbury Street!

I SWEAR BY LEVAIN BAKERY!! Whenever I’m up north I always find my way back here. Seriously they have the best oatmeal raisin cookie. Also they always have something fun for the seasons— like this spiced chocolate chip cookie for fall. Thank you always, Levain 🍪🍪🍪

Had heard about the chocolate chip cookies and was excited to try one. Worth the hype, warm and gooey with a ton of chocolate. My daughter loved the cinnamon brioche! We sat outside and had fun throwing some brioche crumbs to the cute little birds that clearly know to stick around.
