Stopped here while in Boston and was so impressed. I’d like to come back another time to try more of their menu. I appreciate their dedication to natural/whole ingredients. The glow time smoothie was good, pretty similar to most other smoothies. Strawberry basil lemonade was definitely more strawberry forward but tasted so good. The avo toast was one of the better I’ve had at a restaurant, the bread it was on had a unique flavour I appreciated. I got a side of tofu, this is probably on me but it was just warm cubed tofu (no seasoning.) The tahini latte is fire, has such a nice taste that isn’t too sweet.
Honestly couldnt say a bad thing about the place.
Same experience with the misso tofu ramen, it was cold. I waited for 30 minutes and I got a cold soup, asked them to heat it up and they wanted to make another one but I didn't want to have to wait 30 more minutes. I asked them to pack it for me to go. I couldn't taste the flavor. It wasn't a good experience, sadly.
The strawberry smoothie was ok.
This place is a go-to for healthy and flavorful food with great variety. I especially appreciate how clearly they label allergens — gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegetarian — making it easy to find delicious options that fit my needs. Consistently excellent!
My order came after one hour of waiting and asking for it.. I spoke with people working there and they didn’t care. They said speak with the manager. He had no interest to talk at all. All what he said is that it will come to your table. This what happens when you pay for your meal before hand and you tip them before you receive your order. Food was good and nice but service was not worth it. Will not go back !
Came here as recommended by friend and was disappointed. The ambience was fancy and nice with lots of seating but I got take out. I got the Cobb salad and it was terrible - a simple bed of lettuce with 1 egg and avocado, some almonds and dressing. Very boring and not worth the price. I’d go again to try the grain bowls as this is what my friend recommended I get
The restaurant has a very positive vibe and is a good place to socialize. The menu is extensive with many healthy options. Once you order you get a number for the staff to bring you your food. There's self-serve water in the dining area. The food comes out really quick!
The spicy peanut noodles comes in a huge size and can be shared. The sauce is very flavorful without being too saucy. The tofu is cooked with a satisfying crunch and the peanuts goes well with the dish. Every bite is satisfying and the price can't be beat.
Enjoyed the Buddha Bowl, was told the Acai bowls are good, and would like to try their salads next.
You order at the cashier, are given a number, and then wait for the food to be brought out.
Friendly staff with good suggestions. Fresh ingredients. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful food and excited to get a fresh wheatgrass shot! Happy to find a high frequency meal but I almost feel more hungry after eating it and it was on the bland side. Maybe there just wasn't enough protein 🤔 and I'm wishing I'd have asked for a sauce for the fritters.

Waited 30mins for a matcha latte. No other words needed…
Everything seemed pretty expensive to me, but it’s true that the menu is entirely organic so it’s kind of justified I guess. Staff wasn’t welcoming at all. I did enjoy my matcha latte on their nice terrace however! But it took them ages to bring it to me, so I would definitely not recommend it if you are in a hurry… Updated from previous review on 2025-05-16
Be prepared to wait (or order ahead). I waited about 15 minutes for just a lemonade. They don’t prioritize those who do Walk in orders which is a little frustrating.
Union Sq is worse. They refused my husband’s walk in order and told him to order online (which wasn’t working).
Life Alive Organic Café in Back Bay is a great spot — fresh, creative, and full of personality. The food is vibrant and flavorful, and the same goes for their drinks: a fantastic selection of smoothies, teas, and coffees, all with a healthy twist.
Everything is vegetarian and organic, which is perfect if you’re looking for a plant-based experience. Personally, I’d love to see a few options with organic meat or fish, just to have more variety.
Still, it’s a unique and refreshing place that makes eating healthy feel fun and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent warm salad and grain bowls; so tasty! Very nice staff and clean comfortable seating area.
