The food was spectacular. From the appetizers to the main dishes. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars as the service was not great. The server was good but not attentive as the place became busy. The check was dropped and I needed to remind that we had wine left in our bottle.
Celebrating my husband's 60th bday. Party of 8. Food was spectacular! This was our 3rd time there and honestly we have never had a bad dish. All our friends were equally impressed. What was disappointing was our server disappeared and there were long waits in getting drinks replenished. Also when we were ready to settle the check our server handed the check to my husband!!! She knew he was the bday boy and yet she hands him the check! lol!
Chilean Sea Bass was over cooked. More than one of the servers did not understand English and did not return when we requested a menu. Baklava was not good at all. The tuna tartar was amazing!
Limani is new Greek restaurant in the Seaport area. The restaurant is modern and airy and the ambiance is lovely. The music can get a little loud, but is, in general, tolerable. The food was very good - authentic and very tasty. The service was great, our server was attentive and took very good care of us. It is an expensive restaurant though, perhaps more than other Greek restaurants in the Boston area. In general, I would highly recommend it for a special occasion.
We had high hopes for this place, but the service was a major letdown. After sitting for nearly 20 minutes with no acknowledgment, we had to get up and ask for a server. Once we finally got someone, we ended up being passed around between multiple servers — the whole thing felt disorganized and confusing. What we didn't realize when making our reservation was that the restaurant turns into a nightclub later in the evening. Toward the end of our meal, we were rushed to finish and give up our table. Busboys kept coming over trying to clear plates we were still eating from. For a dinner that totaled around $1,000, being forced out was not the experience we expected. To be fair, the food was good — flavorful and nicely presented — but definitely overpriced. I had the sea bass, which was $42 for half a fish and a couple of broccoli heads. The ambience is great, but they really need to decide whether they want to be a restaurant or a club, or at least find a smoother way to blend the two. As it stands, the experience felt scattered and disappointing despite the good food.
Food was really good, as it was also the past 2 times i have been there before, though it is quite expensive. What we didn't enjoy a lot this time was the service. They were always trying to get the plates off the table despite the fact we were still eating. And in general it was a lot of rush. I think it was because they were preparing for Halloween party. They should have closed earlier to prepare for that event because while were eating they were cleaning and moving the tables and they were going back and forth. At the end they brought us (without charge) a dessert with candles because we were there for birthday and that was really kind of them. I just wish they would let us enjoy a bit more our dinner and the really good food without make us feeling so rushed. So, overall a good place to try some delicious greek food, though quite pricey, I just hope they will improve a bit the service.
I brought a client there and we had a great dinner. The service and food were excellent. I picked them since they had plenty of seafood and steaks, but also had a different spin from many of the restaurants in the area.
We had a reservation for 8.45 PM, and they gave us our table at 9.30 PM. Worst experience ever.
Everything was fantastic! Thank you for the beautiful evening and helping us celebrate our friend's birthday!
We really enjoyed the restaurant. It was recommended by my nephew's co-worker who lives in Boston. The food was very good. We ordered the tomato salad, it was so fresh and delicious. We also ordered the eggplant and zucchini chips which were also very good...I couldn't stop eating them! The main courses were a whole fish, which my husband said was absolutely delicious, very fresh and grilled perfectly. I had the lamb chops, again absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. It's a little expensive but it was our first night of vacation so we splurged. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely experience, food was exquisite. If you visit you have to order the tiramisu, I won't spoil the surprise but the experience alone is worth ordering! The freshness of the fish is top notch, one of the rare meals I have truly enjoyed and savored even the day after! Cannot recommend them enough!
very nice location and ambiance. Filet was dry, not that tasty, salmon and crab cakes were excellent. service medium, a lot of staff but not quite at the level the prices would deserve..(e.g. missing fork and on request got a much to large one for the starter...)
Food was great , live music was great at first but got too loud so we could not hold a conversation at all the entire time .. als the servers kept trying to clear the table of food that we were still munching on even though it was not closing time or other tables were empty .. also they kept serving $10 bottles of water without asking if we needed more water ..ended up paying $30 just for water .. hope these are taken into consideration !
Outstanding all around. Exceptional service, Cassidy was an amazing bartender, gave great and honest recommendations about food/drinks and made the night much more enjoyable. Food was so fresh and so good some of the best Greek food in the city. Tomatoes looked like they came straight from your grandmothers garden. Go with a large group so you can order a bunch of different plates to try. Too many good options.
