Just ate there for dinner and it was incredibly busy on a Saturday night, but with no reservation we got in in about 10-15 minutes. Again it was incredibly busy but the service was outstanding, great people constantly checking in and filling waters, the food was excellent, we got the beef tenderloin antipasto which was good, then the veal, which was fine, but I would really reccomend the house (most popular) pasta, which was the best I’ve ever had, wish I could have eaten more. The dessert was also delicious, overall our group unanimously agreed that we could hardly say one negative thing. Would reccomend to all as the best Italian I’ve ever had.

We came to Limoncello at the recommendation of the concierge. Beautiful, modest, authentic Italian spot.

Went to the North End after a Bruins game on a Saturday night. We called earlier in the day and thought we had a reservation but for some reason it wasn't written down. They made room for us and everything was great. The meatballs: I like mine a little spicy and these weren't. But they were very meaty and filling. My boyfriend raved about them and apparently reminded him of his grandmothers. I had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Also had a glass of Limoncello after the meal and it was strong but delicious. I felt it for a bit walking around the North End after dinner. They also sell it by the bottle for $45!

Went last night and had to let things marinate a little bit. I WANTED to like it. BUT. Service was OK. Can't take away from that. But the food? Sorry. All I can go by is what I had. Veal chop with wild mushrooms and black truffle. A $49.00 meal that had a decent chop cooked ok. A FEW mushrooms. And freakin' ZERO truffle flavor at all! To be honest, it was like a sunday roast by my aunt. Brown gravy, green beans and carrots. What the heck? Sorry. Not my bag, and not recommended.

Top notch - probably a top 2-3 place in North End. Highly recommend. Also, get the limoncello ?

This place was absolutely fantastic! Truly the best I’ve had in the north end by far and away. It’s tucked on a side street so I’m glad I seen the reviews otherwise I may not have found it. The seating arrangements are close quarters, but it really just heightens and enhanced the experience. Everything from the bread to the dessert was astonishing. I had the veal, and it was out of this world! Probably the best veal I’ve ever had in my life. The sauce was perfection, I hate chunky sauce and this is a really smooth sauce with delightful flavor. Wish I could just buy this sauce and have it all the time! My wife had the ravioli and it was also a grand slam! She had the limoncello spritz and highly recommends it. We tried some of the tiramisu and it was delicious as well. To cap the night off, they had a fellow come in and sing a song and it was an unexpectedly great addition to the ambiance. I wish I would have found this place years ago when I was in college. Had I known about it, I’d have been here many times already. This was an exceptional experience and I can’t recommend it highly enough. They certainly have our vote and we will be returning soon.

I had made a reservation a couple weeks in advance to sit at a table for a birthday. we walked in, was not greeted for a few minutes and sat us at the tiny bar in the back. the food was super good don't get me wrong, I took home extra to eat later. I was just unhappy I made a reservation and was put all the way in the back near the kitchen and bathrooms
