10000/10 experience. Go for the food, stay for Maddie the bartender. She was kind, funny and attentive. While the pasta shined like the stars, the burrata and squash salad was the belle of the ball. We cannot wait to come back and dine again.
Best food in the North End, Little Sage is a far cry from the run-of-the-mill restaurants that abound on Hanover Street. They have outstanding pastas. They are inventive without serving food that is overly complicated. Sauces are richly flavorful. Although it's noisy at night at lunch time it wasn't crowded, which made for a very pleasant ambiance.
We started with an Oliva cocktail, and it was excellent. Then, for appetizers, the ciabatta and olives were very good. The leafy green salad was perfectly dressed. For entrées we had the pork chop and the shrimp. Both were excellent. The service is always was great. We really enjoy this restaurant!
