Nothing like burnt Fish cooked in old cooking oil. The fish was burned and dry and I think there were fish scales on it. It was a takeout order so I looked at it when I got home lesson Learned. I tried to eat it anyway wasn’t going back over there and request money back overpriced about 50 $ Way too much for the experience.

The Bostonian warmed with melted butter, YUM. My friend got the Bostonian also. My friend has a dairy allergy and the restaurant woman was so nice and accommodating— old bay seasoning and no butter. I do wish she would’ve asked my friend if she wanted it warm or cold though. Hers came out cold. Maybe that’s how it comes when there now butter to warm it with though. So so so very yummy and I’ll be dreaming of this roll until the next time I’m in Boston

This place is freaking amazing! I was in Boston for only the weekend - arrived Friday out Sunday. I was their first customer Saturday right when they opened. And I was one of their last customers when they closed that night. Sooo good I went back twice in the same day. Family owned and operated. Next time I am in Boston my feet will be under there table!!

I’m not satisfied with the way the lobstah rolls R looking and the bread seems like it’s old and hard the food use to be appealing but now it’s not I spend to much money on a New Engländer and need my money worth I’m talking about both locations

All I have to say is THANK YOU! I ordered the New England hot lobster roll, and it was huge and piled high with delicious lobster meat chunks. The roll was fresh and delicious as well.
For the non lobster lover, I ordered the Minute Man pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was thick , tender, and delicious! The roll was fresh and delicious as well. It could've deserved a bit more meat to give more balance to the thickness of the bun, but maybe that's just me?

I visited this shop at 3pm on a Tuesday in July and the three of all had the Bostonian. The lobster rolls were absolutely delicious! The lobster tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The Bostonian is 4oz of lobster meat on a perfectly toasted roll and topped with butter. It was perfect. If you're looking for an authentic lobster roll, this is it! We were also treated to a tasting of the clamn chowder, which was creamy and delicious. We sat outside and the South End of Boston provided all the atmosphere we needed. We enjoyed our meal with a few diet cokes. Listen, if you're hungry and you're in the mood for a chill spot with delicious fast casual food options, this is it. I'll definitely go back and try other things. I appreciated everything about the experience, including the chef who took pride in the food they had made from scratch. Can't wait to go back!

I was in Boston for a day a couple weeks ago and met up with a friend for a late lunch. He suggested this Lobstah On A Roll location. This is the best Lobster roll I have ever had. Good portion, nice little cozy shop with outdoor seating. The staff was very polite and the price was right. I will return to this shop the next time I'm in Boston!
