Great bar with lots of seating, attentive friendly service and great wings. We had a few appetizers but the wings were the best. Crispy (perfect crisp) and tender on the inside. For me a perfect wing. Nachos were okay, large portion but the cheese was a little underwhelming. Sliders were okay but the bun was too large for the burger size and it was not toasted so it ate a little dry. Great tap beer selection. Highly recommend for the wings.

Liked the food but the service ruined the experience. Our waiter,I think his name was Stephen was more interested in socializing with other staff and we were left waiting for long periods for drinks etc even though the place was very quiet. I ordered coffee and had to ask several times why it was taking so long and when it did eventually come it was without cream sugar or spoon. It took two more trips and a ridiculous amount of time to get those by which time the coffee was cold. It's such a shame because I like the food and the place and it's so close to my house.

The food is phenomenal especially the big steak with the skewer of shrimp. I would like an option to replace the baked potato because I like something different but apparently that's not an option. The service on the other was the worst I've ever experienced. Get your service ready and maybe we will become loyal customers.

Moved my daughter into the neighborhood and enjoyed a perfect pint with a tasty burger and fries outside. I don’t blame the server for lightly laughing at me when I wanted to make sure the Guinness was on draught. I felt at home with my red hair and freckles.
Came here Friday night with a friend and asked to sit outside. I will note that I have been here a few times for drinks and somewhat know the waitress we had because he is always working here and has a distinct personality that is like intense and kind of rude but in a joking kind of way.... I think? Memorable to say the least lol.
He takes our order and is like the kitchen is closing at 10 so basically hurry up (I think it was like 930 at this point?) and we were like ok kind of rude but noted and put our orders in. He comes back out with the food and hands it to us over the rail that separated out table from the picnic tables in the other outdoor section - so we had to like move to reach to grab it from him. Not a huge deal but like I have been a waitress for 3 years - you don't really do that and there was plenty of room to come around . Then probably 10 minutes into our meal I feel something on my leg - I flick it and its the BIGGEST ROACH I have ever seen. Obviously horrified we decided to take the food to go and leave. My friend went up to pay the bill ASAP and explain what happened as we were now taking our food to go and he goes I'm sorry baby! and is just super flippant about the whole thing,
Listen - were we expecting to get the meal comped - no, but I would have come over and apologized and at least asked if there was anything I could do. Also our table was up against the building so it had clearly come from the inside. We tipped him 20% but looking back really shouldn't have.
I got a taco salad for dinner - ate some of it when my appetite returned the next day and got so sick. I am not sure if it was the food cooked incorrectly or didn't hold well in the fridge but the whole experience was just so backwards and off. I would not come here again/ get takeout especially when there are so many other places to go on east Broadway. Not the hidden gem people think it is just because the drinks are reasonably priced.

I've been coming here for 5ish years since I moved to the neighborhood. The food is always fantastic. The vibe/location is phenomenal (albeit the only bar in this area).
The one problem since day one has been the staffing. I've been coming here at least once every 2 months since 2021 and there is a revolving door of staff. They are all super nice and in general we like them (and wish we got to know them more than a 3 month tenure).
The issue here is the amount of staff. It is constantly so slow. However management staffs it or hires people for the tables, it's brutally tough to get attention when you want another drink. We find ourselves cashing out and going to L st/Playwright when we want to keep the night going, vs. staying here and drinking just because they are so slow.
Again, very nice spot and we really want to like it, but the owners need to make another hire or two because it is so so so slow.

Ordered steak tips and specified I wanted it well done, it arrived medium rare. The mashed potatoes were extremely salty. Tired of the inconsistency. First couple of times I ordered from here the food was perfection.

Used to love this place and used to go to trivia every tuesday. Two people on my trivia team are vegetarian. They keep changing their menu so it will go from having vegetarian options to no vegetarian options so the team has to find somewhere else to go for the months of the year they decide to have no options.

Definitely an underrated bar in southie. Love coming here for some good food and drinks that are priced well. They have great specials throughout the week. Workers are super nice and I’ve only experienced great service so far. Outdoor space is nice during the summer which is a huge plus especially being so near the beach!
Very unfortunate that this is the only bar on the east side of South Boston. All of the food is sub par and the atmosphere is a bit odd. As someone who lives in the area and has for 3 years, I wish they'd put more effort into their food.
Most underrated spot in southie. The food is above average, Chris the bartender is outstanding and it is always a good, up-beat atmosphere. The prices of food and drinks can’t be beat in Boston. It’s nice to see a place not price gauge
I go here for the trivia nights it's a pretty good time
Drinks were good. Owners were helpful and friendly. Great place.
