The restaurant ambiance was a fantastic neighborhood feel. A refreshing change from the tourist filled establishments all along Hanover St. We were able to get seats at the bar before our reservation and our table was ready on time. The appetizers came out very quickly and were fresh and hot & the main courses were very fresh and well proportioned. Excellent pasta and gnocchi. Sharply prepared as opposed to drowning in sauce like in so many local joints. Exceptional octopus and tuna tartare. Too bad service was a bit lackadaisical. Even the wines by the glass were good and not the usual ripoff. We'll be back.
The burrata with delicata squash was a delicious surprise. Get the butternut squash pasta if you a looking for a sweeter dish. Or try the lobster gnocchi if you are looking for something light but savory. Or split both like we did! Chicken was a standout like everyone said and the pork Milanese was also delicious. Also try the panna cotta. Service was excellent. We can't wait to go back!
