Visited here twice during a five-day stay in Boston recently. Really great experience with fabulous food and service. It's a little noisy inside, but maybe we're just getting old! We love the menu and the food is top notch, really can't recommend this venue enough...
Great food and atmosphere! We came after 10PM so the vibe of the restaurant felt more like a nightclub, and less like a restaurant. Overall good experience!

Unfortunately this was not an enjoyable experience. I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and they had us wait for almost 30 minutes before being seated. The staff was snobby, pretentious, and rude. They made a lot of my friends feel really uncomfortable including me. One of them wouldn’t even let one of my guests inside the restaurant and I had to go outside to get her. I don’t think I’m coming back which is sad because coming from Mexico City I was excited to find somewhere with a more accurate Mexican cuisine. Still, the dishes are pretty standard and I wouldn’t describe as gourmet.

Service was slow initially but at the end server was in hurry to get us out of restaurant. Otherwise excellent restaurant with great food, drinks and ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow - what an amazing spot for dinner! Everything was beautiful and next level - the decor, the atmosphere- fresh red roses!!!!! And the food and drinks were delish! I highly recommend making this a destination when in Boston!

It had a gothic atmosphere, just as its name suggests, with a dark and stylish interior. It seemed to be very popular, and when I visited at 8 PM on a Friday night, people were waiting outside. The staff was nice, but they were so busy that they occasionally forgot water or napkins. There were groups of girls dressed up for a night out and couples on dates.

This was the first dinner spot on our trip to Boston. It was a great time and the waiter was friendly, professional and extremely courteous. Everything was delicious and trust me we tried a lot of things off the menu. A must have for sure is the street corn. Omg you will LOVE it!
The food tasted really good. The theme of the restaurant is also different and interesting. Everything is black themed. The crispy fish sandwich was delicious and will definitely order again.

This is what you want if you're looking for SA food & drinks in top level atmosphere at reasonable prices. Waitress also explained the meaning behind the restaurant name, maybe have a margarita before asking haha!
