Not a safe place to eat for single women

We tried to get in and it was not possible due to the bad attitude of the security guard. We were four tourists who were passing by the site and we noticed that they were in some kind of dance class. However, when we tried to enter the security guard asked us for our identification. Two of us did not have our passports but we did have other documents that allowed us to identify ourselves and that clearly demonstrated our age of majority. It is worth mentioning that we are all over 33 years old. The guard said he could only verify with passport why he couldn't be sure if the other documents were fake. We understood… and we went out to wait for an Uber. Due to the cold (less than 2 degrees Celsius) my wife and a friend stood between the two entrance doors but the guard came out and demanded that they leave that place. We indicated that we were just waiting for the Uber and he was still very rude and intimidatingly demanding that they move. They moved and then the guard demanded that we move again. That is to say that we could not be in front of the site. The truth is a supremely rude attitude.

We are big fan of Loretta's Last Call and have been here many times. If you're looking for a down home southern experience this won't let you down. Live music and dancing is always grear here. On this particular visit we came for the Johnny Cash brunch, and it was a lot of fun. What excellent service from Gail today! My only piece of feedback is about our visit was about the biscuits and gravey, as seen on the menu. Be prepared for the irony when it comes out and is served with only a single biscuit... Well... It is a southern themed restaurant. We'll be back, we love this place... Bad grammer and all. No judgement - I'm just a simple guy from Indiana ?!

That Nashville hot mac & cheese does not play!! It’s quite possibly the best mac & cheese I’ve had from a restaurant.

This place has the best fried chicken in the Boston area! The flavor was amazing and the chicken was juicy. The service was fast and the servers were super friendly and awesome at recommit food and drinks. My drink that they recommend was great and the music was good. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

I love Loretta’s ! I always enjoy the menu options, and the food is consistently great. You have to go for back door doughnuts !!! OMG they are worth the wait, the only other location is Martha’s Vineyard !Get the apple fritter !! It’s famous :)The service is what keeps me going back.I noticed that the restaurant is ran well, and you feel taken care of. It shows also because of how busy it is !A fun place to hang out enjoy drinks with friends or live music ! A must go place when you’re in the city for line dancing. There is no where like it !

I placed a pick-up order for a fried chicken sandwich, but they gave me a single chicken tender(?) messily tossed with slaw underneath. Seems like the restaurant was reserved for an event so the doors were all blocked off when I got there, so I wish it was clearer at the time of ordering whether they were taking orders at all.

Back Door Donuts Boston Pop-Up: The back door donuts were a great way to end a long night out in Boston. As the name suggests it's a small hole in the wall type shop , so no seating which is a bummer especially in winter , but the donuts were worth the wait . Service was nice and timely so our wait time wasn't too bad . A single donut is $3.00 and some change so make sure you come with the mindset of getting a little snack!

I had the most fun and memorable time at Loretta's for my birthday dinner the other night. Our waiters were so kind and hilarious!!! Cohle and Bianca. Icons!! They made our night!!

Cohle was outstanding. He was so friendly with us and we had a great time! So happy he could take care of our huge group of 12. Great job and great food!

During the summer of 2023, Back Door Donuts had a pop-up at Loretta's Last Call. Delicious doughnuts served through the side window after 7 PM. There was a beautiful photo op with purple lighting that added to the ambiance, and the worker at the window was very friendly. I got half a dozen doughnuts of all different flavors. The double chocolate was surprisingly my favorite because it was not heavy at all despite the name. My least favorite was the apple fritter.

I want to be fair and I'm all about second chances, but not entirely sure I will take said chance here. I was out with a large group prior to Straight No Chaser concert at MGM Fenway next door. I see the allure of Loretta's location and probably if you're a beer drinker. Cocktails seem overly sweet and made from premade mixes. I've eaten plenty of pub fare and if you enjoy faux southern, it'll be fine for a quick bite. What doesn't happen to me often is getting sick in the middle of the night. I was the DD, so can't blame any booze. I was the only one who had the brisket sandwich. Did I burp through the entire concert? I did! Did I take a Pepto Bismal before bed? Yup! Do I usually do this after dining out? Never! The staff was lovely, servers were great, but imma have to stay away in the future. This place broke me.
