The best Italian food I’ve had in a long time, if not the best. The service was amazing the food was clearly amazing and I don’t think anything could have been better. It’s nice to see a beautiful place like that with good food at a reasonable price is still around in 2026. If you’re reading this just hurry up and go already, you won’t regret it.

I went there last week and was quite disappointed. They had half of the menu missing - no garlic bread, no cannolis, etc. They had a singer come in to perform which was nice but after she did two songs they allowed her to go table to table to try and solicit donations from guests. Really disappointing compared to its North End counterparts in Euno, Carmelina's and Cantina Italiana.

The food, atmosphere and service are amazing. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is fresh and so tasteful! I always get their ravioli and it's the best I've ever had. I've never had homemade ravioli like theirs! We can't wait to go back!! Definitely a must try!

Cozy little Italian restaurant. Walked in on a Saturday night around 5:30 with myself and two kids after our original plan had a line 30 people deep. They were able to seat us right away which we appreciated. Food was delicious. My only “complaint” is the tables are so close together but that is so typical for the north end and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a restaurant around there that that isn’t the case. I could hear her words for words the conversations happening on both sides of me. But overall loved it and will def return!

Went for lunch today. The homemade ravioli bolegnese was so good, my husband & I both agreed it was the best we had ever had in our lives. Why this place is not 5 stars is beyond me. It must be the competition...because it make no sense. Perfect service, clean restaurant, and the best italian in town!

the most scandalous service and experience I have ever had.
I decided to try it for the second time, because the first time was not very impressive.
I showed up around 8:50 pm. The first thing the waitress said to us was that you only have 3 minutes to order food since the kitchen closes at 9.
At 9:00 we place our order.
Nothing bad so far. It is understandable that the schedule must be respected. We ordered 3 plates of pasta. In just 3 minutes the order was ready.
How is it possible that pasta is ready in 3 minutes??? The waiter only had the mind to take our plate away, without asking us at all if there was anything we didn't like or if everything was okay.
at 9:25 pm we got up from the table because no dishes were left on our table 🤣🤣🤣
on top of all the tip was included in the price without our knowledge.
PS: at least don't let the waiter serve with a hoodie, it looks very ugly.
EDIT:The pasta was so overcooked that it felt like I was eating mashed potatoes.
Another EDIT:

Since you asked for an edit of my review, I am more than happy to give you another answer.
Can you tell me how it is possible that you have so many negative reviews, and in none of them do you have any fault? Not a single one. You are infallible. You are unique. The only case in the world where a business or an individual does not make any mistakes in life. 🤣🤣
I would sincerely ask you to change the chef and teach him how to cook pasta correctly.
From then on, in your side, the pasta should be called AL DENTE.
AFTER ALL you should turn on the heat, dont be so cheap 🤣🤣.buy some new uniforms and turn the HEAT ON ,cheap boss.

I got the Ravioli with Bolognese. They provided a decent portion of raviolis filled with ricotta (came out a little cooler than I would hope, but that's a picky expectation), but the bolognese sauce was very thin, where it mainly provided moisture as opposed to adding flavor.

During my meal, I attempted to go to the bathroom in the downstairs area, and I was stopped by a server, who had to check with the host that I was a customer before I could go to the bathroom. I found this fairly classless and rude, as if they were running a gas station bathroom.

If looking for a good Ravioli in the North End, I would recommend Vinoteca di Monica, who's Braised Beef Ravioli (only +$2 than the raviolis here) surpasses by multiples.

If you’re in or around Boston and looking for an amazing meal, make your way to L’Osteria on Salem Street in the North End. This quaint little gem offers a warm, authentic Italian ambience that instantly transports you to the kind of cozy restaurants we’ve enjoyed in Italy. Our meals exceeded every expectation. My wife ordered the veal parmigiana, and I had the lasagna, both were outstanding. The sauce was rich yet delicate, perfectly balanced, and the homemade pasta made each bite memorable. Truly some of the best Italian dishes we’ve ever had. The service was equally exceptional. From the moment we were greeted at the door and shown to our table, we felt welcome. Our server, Gabriella, was friendly, professional, and attentive. Her friendly personality and genuine hospitality made us feel like part of the family. If you find yourself in Boston’s North End, don’t miss this hidden gem. L’Osteria delivers the kind of dining experience that lingers long after the last bite.

My wife and I went there for our anniversary last night. My wife got the ravioli and she said the sauce was delicious. I inhaled Bocconcini Di Vitello Triestini and it was one the best dishes I’ve ever had. My dog thought she was going to get some when I ate the leftovers for lunch……LOL.
Joanne was our server and she was amazing and funny. We will be back, can’t wait to try something else.
Hint : After lunch/dinner, take a walk around the beautiful North End to burn some calories for a cannoli.

Best Italian food I’ve ever had. The lobster ravioli was to dieeeeee for! Their calamari, also. The vibe here is very cozy, it feels like I’d been there before and it was actually my first time! I’d come here again and again if I could but I live in Chicago lol. If you’re visiting and contemplating between here and anywhere else, come here!!
