Sorry, no pictures but the food was fantastic!
Real Italian flavor. We had 7 people, they all were very pleased.
We made a reservation for 7 people.
We shared the Caprice salad, really good.
Lasagna to die for, butter lemon chicken, eggplant and chicken, chicken parm and the chicken, veal, shrimp special.
We were all very pleased and it was perfect before going to the TD Garden. 7 minutes walk.
Really worth it

This isn’t Italian food, it’s an insult to the entire country of Italy. Everything was so aggressively over-salted it felt like a dare, not a meal. The chicken parm? A culinary war crime. Floured before breading, so the crust slips off like it’s trying to escape the shame of being served here. It’s not just bad, it’s offensively bad. If you’ve never had real Italian food, maybe you’d be fooled. But for anyone with taste buds or dignity, this place is a nightmare. I’m not from Boston, and if this is what locals consider Italian cuisine, I wouldn’t admit I was either. This place should come with a warning label; or better yet, a passport stamp that says “You’ve officially left the land of flavor.” Typical of Boston, mediocrity is the standard and this place hits the mark.

Came here for the first time tonight and had the best penne with vodka sauce I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend. Service was great and quick.

Nice surprise. Service was a bit slow and not super friendly, but the vibe was great and the food very good. I was very surprised and encourage everyone to try this place. They did not try to do too much, I liked it.

We couldn’t eat the food. It was bland and not fresh. Clearly frozen and store bought.

So so good ! The veal braciolettine and veal tristini are out of this world. Mussels marinara was also excellent….don’t forget to dip your bread in that sauce….yum ! Great service and perfect spot if you want to escape the crowds on Hanover as well as inflated prices. Love me some L’Osteria 👍🏼

We went here on our last night in Boston. The food was really good. The issue was with the service. She was really rude with my brother when he was looking over the menu because us other 4 have chosen. I've never been in a restaurant that couldn't put the order in for the other people and come back later for the last person. I just don't get if you work in service you basically work for tips. She seems to be very impatience and trying to get us out the door. My tip if your thinking of going here if you want good service don't if you don't care the food great so go ahead.

Accidentally stumbled on this place and was so happy with everything! Restaurant is beautiful, love the windows out to the north end, service is always quick and food is delicious to boot.

One star because bad sea food. Wife and I came to visit from New Jersey. We ordered the fried calamari, napoleon fish, and mussel linguine. The mussel was unfortunately not fresh at all, it actually has that “sewage” smell because the mussel was starting to go bad already. Restaurant insisted that it was fresh and got it the same day. We actually ended up paying for it still. Other than that the food was just okay, not bad, not good. If I was a local I wouldn't mind coming. But if I was a tourist, I’d try something better.

The staff were wonderful and were particularly kind to our 1 year old son. Offered to bring him something out right away.

The food was great. My wife enjoyed hers but my Italian sausage & bolognese was amazing. It was clear the sausage was top notch. Thank you so much for a great vacation meal!

This place is okay if you just want to get something to eat. Service is okay you just have to be a little bit patient but at least the servers are really nice. Something’s to point out is that the atmosphere doesn’t feel Italian to be honest and one major problem is the amount of gum under the tables and not everything is 100% clean. Apart from that, the food was good, not outstanding but pretty good. So in all just go here to get some lunch for the day and that’s it.
