We had a nice dinner here. It was pricy but somewhat worth it. The ambiance was very nice, the vodka pasta was our favorite. The mushroom short rib was just okay. The nachos special and the mezze were good. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-25
Expensive but worth it. Highly recommend.
Don't really have anything else to say that hasn't been said. With the exit of so many "high end" vegan options in the Northeast, Lulu Green fills that void and does it just as good if not better than some of my previous favorite now-closed vegan spots. MAKE A RESERVATION it fills up fast!
Amazing food, for a small place it had a great range of options. For dessert I had the Macarons, I've never had vegan macarons before but these were sensational!
Some of my favorites: Brunch Sandwich 2.0 Regular Brunch Sandwich Sun-dried Tomato & Arugula Omelet Lulu Chicken Sandwich
If you’re in the Boston area, you need to drop in. Was visiting for the weekend, and ended up coming twice, for lunch and brunch. Everything is vegan, delicious, and the staff are super friendly and ready to give recommendations. Pastries, desserts, coffee, cocktails, and delicious food. You cannot go wrong.
Great food — nice atmosphere — wonderful staff! I mentioned a particular food allergy I have to the waiter and the chef actually came out and talked to us to make sure he understood the nature of my allergy. He ended up making a special dish for me —I’ve never seen such care taken to fully honor my particular dietary restrictions. And, the dish was great! At first I thought this place might be a little pricey but it sure is worth it!
We ate here a while ago. Every time we visit from New Jersey we have to eat here.

Delicious vegan food! We are staying at one of the hotels in the vicinity and walked over to this place (30 minute walk). Amazing find. Everything we tried was delicious. We had the Shewarma and quinoa bowls with the beets and yuca fries. I got the “chicken” bowl to go. I ate it cold the next day and still delicious! We came between lunch and dinner time to avoid a crowded time.

Lulu Green was incredible all around! The space is so cute, though very small, but we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very kind and helpful!
I went with two friends who are both NOT vegan and despite it being fully vegan they ended up liking everything we got and were shocked that the eggs looked and tasted like chicken eggs and the whipped cream (apparently made from lentils) was so magnificent. They liked everything we got as well!
We had the breakfast tacos, the huevos rancheros, the avocado toast and the pancake. I also got an iced chai with sesame syrup added and while I liked it, I wouldn’t get it again - the chai doesn’t have very much spice and is pretty sweet. I had the huevos rancheros and pancake leftovers for breakfast and the huevos were fine the pancakes were pretty dense which was drastically different than when they were fresh (so fluffy!).
I wanted to start the day with a solid breakfast since I wasn’t sure what vegan protein options would be available throughout the day and this was absolutely perfect!! I would absolutely go back again.

the honey glazed chicken doesn’t taste good, not worth it, $20 and not even fries. The pretzel bun was very unpleasant.

Absolutely delicious and artfully presented mezzo and dinner entrees! Our 3 loved Shawarma (with rice, za’atar pita, grilled peppers and tahini) Mushroom ‘Short Rib’ (with parsnips, parsnip purée and a variety of shrooms) and Chunk Foods (seitan) Steak, with chimichurri and whipped cauliflower)! For dessert, we also enjoyed the French macarons, selecting coconut and pistachio flavors.
The mezze platter was incredible, some of the best pita I’ve ever had. And the muhammara was so flavorful. Everything is vegan, even the Brie! Based on reviews I’ve read I was excited to try the mushroom shortrib. However it was very dry and disappointing. The tres leches cake was impressively vegan, but the taste didn’t wow. We were visiting Massachusetts from New York a little over a week ago and we found this gem in Boston. The food was Absolutely amazing. The flavor and delectable choices were unforgettable. Our waitress Leann was such a great addition to making dinner a complete 5 star experience, she was absolutely the best. We had the LuLu Burger And The Honey Chik'n Sandwhich. And the appetizers were to die for. Definitely would travel again just to eat there.
