Llama Beam

Cozy place with window seating, I can't wait to eat here more often! I got the brisket noodle soup and, while it wasn't piping hot as I'd liked, the brisket was tender, there was soybean curd, and the perfect combination of 5 spice, crispy garlic, and peppers. Very worth the promised 15 minute wait - they should add another crew member because that phone was RINGING so you know people love this place!!
Chewy boba - it was a divine eating experience

Picture this: a student, hungry, upset, about to go to their 5 hour studio without lunch. Due to having no hot water, the school cafe was closed. On the brink of starvation, the student and two other victims of the tragedy made the 7 minute trek to M&J Teriyaki. The three of them ordered a chicken teriyaki, a beek teriyaki, and a special eel teriyaki. Also two mango milk tea and a coffee milk tea. The food was so good (especially the beef. it was really good) The students were saved. Thank you M&J Teriyaki. You saved us.

Also the price vs portion ratio is very good and i love it here. I come here all the time.

They have great Boba Tea! I had Taro flavour and it was delicious plus the Bobas cooked perfectly so they were not chewy and just yummy 😊

Delicious food. Be warned the portions are massive, we could have split an entree!

Great casual place with generous portions. If you're at the fine art museum it's just across the park

Really good pricing, I loved the artwork on the walls, the staff were polite and the food was really savoury and easily filled me with a really addicting kick to their food. I recommend this place

Food came out quick and was very good. You get quite a bit for the price and there's a wide variety of things to choose from. Would come here frequently if I lived in the city.

Place is a hidden gem. A small team making great food at their own pace. Definitely worth the wait.

Everything was hot, quick, and delicious! Was the perfect way to warm up on a chilly day.

❌ DO NOT EAT HERE! WORST SERVICE EVER! ❌

If you care about basic respect and decent service, STAY AWAY from this restaurant! The front desk staff is shockingly rude, acting as if customers are an inconvenience. The service is painfully slow—I waited over 30 minutes for my food with zero updates or apologies. When I asked about it, they rudely brushed me off like they couldn’t care less.

I visited this restaurant with a friend after our trip to the MFA—just a 10-minute walk away. This place exceeded my expectations. Their menu features a variety of meats, including lamb, beef, chicken, and eel. We ordered the beef with onion and the stewed beef with curry—both dishes came in generous portions with fantastic flavor, served with rice and vegetables.

They also offer skewers, and the lamb skewers are the best I’ve had in Boston—only $7.50 for two! The pricing is excellent for the quality and portion sizes. Absolutely loved it—so delicious!
