Mariel is a restaurant offering a variety of dishes, with standouts including Calamari Frito, Fufu gnocchi, and salmon cubitos. Drinks, such as guava mojito, are refreshing and can be ordered in non-alcoholic versions. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and lively ambiance, especially in the evening. Sharing-style plates are available, and between two people, four plates are usually enough. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly and accommodating, with attentive staff like Sarah who assist with dietary needs. Parking can be found at nearby garages, like the Post Office Square garage. The food is tasty, though some items may be smaller than expected for the price, and the flavors tend to be just okay. The atmosphere is lively and warm, making it a great spot for a fun night out. The staff, including the general manager, are professional, warm, and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The music can be loud in the evening, but the great cocktails and gorgeous decor make up for it. Overall, Mariel is a nice place for a lively evening, especially for those looking to enjoy creative drinks and a fun, vibrant atmosphere.
