Small neighborhood restaurant. Food was off the chart. I had pasta alla Mario, shrimp, clams and mussels in a red plum sauce. I could have eaten just a bowl of sauce, the seafood was all cooked perfectly, all served over homemade pasta. My wife had a dish with a lightly breaded chicken cutlets with sauteed veggies in a lemon wine sauce over penne. We loved this dish. All ingredients were super fresh. Both dishes came with a small dinner salad. The staff, all family I think were amazing. If you are ever in East Boston then stop by and enjoy. We each had a glass of wine.
Hard to find a better place for classic authentic Nonna's style cooking. Pastas are made fresh, sauces are flavorful, meats are excellent, an absolute classic establishment with all the charm and tradition you could ask for. Consistently excellent and an great wine selection too for a small venue.
Excellent place for dinner while in town for a night stay. The food was super delicious, and Ursula was the most wonderful proprietor I've encountered in a long time. She makes the most delightful tiramisu. If I ever make it back to Boston, I will definitely make it a point to stop here for a home cooked meal. Grazie Mille
The lasagna is great
Amazing food! Great desserts! And an amazing team!
This was one of the greatest unplanned experiences during our trip to Boston. The friendliness of staff, personalized attention, menu options and overall excellent experience made this get a hands down “last meal” vote as something we’d ask for as our last meal. Just excellent all around.
Like Nona used to make back in Italy
Ursula, the owner, was our waitress. She had a great personality. The food was awesome! Ms. Ursula timed our food service so that we had our appetizers then received our main course.
OMG, little Italy heaven, from Barbara and Ursula, and the chefs in the back, da bomb!!

The restaurant was recommended by a friend and was AMAZING!!!. From when we entered into the restaurant to be seated to ordering an appetizer to our main menu, everything was excellent. I got the lobster ravioli and I can say it’s one of the best meals I’ve had. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that is looking for a good Italian meal. They have a great selection of food to choose from. Will definitely be back!!!

This is a great family-run classic place. The bruschetta was the best, Veal Parmesan was unbelievable and of course the homemade pasta was really good. The chocolate cannoli was excellent—the filling was so good! We will definitely be back soon!

The pizza is easily the best on the south shore and Mario is the nicest guy. They use only the best ingredients. Highly recommend the Sicilian but you can’t go wrong with any of it!
