This wasn't our 1st choice for brunch, however we were unable to get a seat at our 1st choice an associated restaurant. We were directed to Marseille and what a pleasant surprise, the food was amazing, hands down the best French onion soup I've ever had! The vegetarian eggs Benedict was so delicious. The service was excellent as well.
We didn't get the buffet but by the looks of it they had a wide selection for the price.

This place was fine, but not exciting. Disappointing cheese and charcuterie board, especially for the price.

I really enjoy this establishment any time of day. They do a great French inspired brunch (eggs Benny on croissants etc). Their menu is elevated and I find it to be more bang for your buck when compared to similar establishments (sorry mistral :-/). They also have one of the top 3 espresso martinis in Boston. All of the bartenders are excellent but Angelica is my favorite! Always smiling :) Oh and the pate de Saumon en croute is out of this world. It is essentially a salmon Wellington served on a bed of lobster butter. Phenomenal (see photo)

This is the best restaurant i know in Boston. The place is nice and the service was perfect. But, above all, the food was so brilliant. I had scallops with a mushroom ravioli. OMG, the mushroom ravioli was extraordinary! For dessert i had a poached pear on an anise creme brûlée, a perfection. The chef is definitely extremely creative, but using good products to produce these meals made all the difference. The price was very reasonable. We had 3 glasses of an excellent Cotes du Rhone. Please don't miss the opportunity to visite this place. Being French myself, i highly recommend it!
Unfortunately we experienced a decline in the food quality. We used to enjoy the bread given the reputation of the restaurant group but when it came out it was moldy and had to be replaced by our host. Our server had an accident at the table which caused two meals needing to be replaced. One meal, the duck, came back very undercooked. While we enjoyed the restaurant and the food in the past we will not be going back.
I recently dined at Marseille restaurant in Boston, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely divine, with every dish bursting with authentic French flavors. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, offering the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The staff was attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience, and I will definitely be coming back soon!

We went to the Marseille restaurant for the "dine out" (menu with starter, main course and dessert). We had a perfect egg as a starter, which lived up to its name. For main course we had the sea bass, cooked to perfection on a bed of small vegetables. For dessert I had strawberry soup, very good and not too sweet, I love it.
I found myself in France.
A very good address.

Went out for Dine out Boston 2024. Pretty disappointed overall in the food. The only dish we really enjoyed was the asparagus appetizer. The rest of the dishes were all one-note and pretty bland. The steak especially was oddly watery and grey. The outdoor seating is very nice but really the only highlight. Had heard good things about Marseille and left pretty underwhelmed.

We went during restaurant week and had the fixed menu for $55. The server didn’t really know the menu, she mixed up the appetizers with the mains. I ordered a main thinking it had prosciutto but it ended up being a cod filet.
The food was very average and some of it lacked flavor. The risotto was pretty bad.
I don’t think I would go again

We have been to Marseilles many times but this was our first time for brunch. There were 3 of us. We ordered the cheese plate appetizer to start. It came with three small pieces of cheese and 1 crostini. The majority of the plate was taken up by salad. Not what we were expecting, especially for the price. The entrees were delicious and the service was excellent. We will return to this restaurant but will never again order the cheese plate appetizer.
Such a good date night to be had here. We went during dine out restaurant week and the options were great. The server was super kind and even added an extra scoop of ice cream to my dessert. Highly recommend this spot!

A beautiful Sunday afternoon brunch on the outdoor patio--our experience at Marseilles was beyond our expectation. We passed by the restaurant on our way to SOWA and noticed the charming patio calling our attention. Everything was spectacular, from the attentive service to the delightful rum-coconut-banana cocktails. My husband had the French toast which came with caramel and whipped cream, and I had the onion soup which was rich with broth, bread and runny Gruyere. I thought the soup would not be enough--it was! -- and so I also ordered the broccolini salad which was lemony and delicious with fresh green peas, basil and a gentle sprinkling of almonds. From a price perspective, I was actually surprised that each item ordered was only $15-$16. Given the portion size and the quality of ingredients, this was also an amazing value. Thank you!
