Very tasty food, great service. No reservations, first come first serve. Prices are not super inexpensive but it is worth the cost. We were only grabbing a snack as we had some commitment afterward. Only pitty is that it is difficult to share bites if you are like me and want to try it all. I guess we will have to come back! 😜
My favorite was the shrimp tempura, but the eel was great too.

Delicious. Love the umami flavor combinations in the hand rolls, and especially enjoyed the salmon cups. Portions are relatively small, and if you order more of the premium hand rolls, price can be quite high. But each hand roll is generously stuffed with large servings of fish. Nothing especially fancy except premium, high quality ingredients.

One of the best meals I’ve had - sushi or otherwise. The food is fresh, the portions are huge (so much fish vs rice!), and the people are so nice. Favorites were scallop caviar, foie gas, and miso butter cod. There isn’t a single bad item on the menu - trust me, I had 9 rolls! I’m definitely coming back.

It was my first time here and I’m usually not a fan of hand rolls, but this place was so good! I had the steamed egg to start and then got the OG miso cod hand roll and truffle avocado roll. I loved both, but was pleasantly surprised by the truffle avocado, I ordered a second. Highly recommend this place, but do note that they get quite busy. I had to wait for a bit and was offered a seat outdoor.

I’ve always wanted to try out this place and finally got to visit with friends. We loved all the hand rolls we ordered — well made, tasted good and good portion, none of them disappointed us. The price is a bit too high but it’s worth it. Wait time could be long and not too many seatings inside.

My first time here. Not much indoor seating but more seatings outdoor. Server was kind and frequently checked on us. It's pricey but menu offered a variety of handrolls. Be mindful that the portion size is quite small, and you need to order like 4 at least to feel like you had a meal... The appetizers (edamame and seaweed) had slightly bigger portion size and were shareable. It's a nice place if you want to try the experience of eating some specialized Japanese handrolls. Would just budget ahead :)

Excellent hand rolls, particularly the miso butter cod. For our taste, we found the pacing a little too fast for a $40-50/person meal - we ordered five hand rolls each and were in and out in 40 minutes.

We had a fantastic experience at Matsunori Handroll Bar! Every roll we tried was fresh and flavorful. The mango salmon roll is a must-try — highly recommended for its perfect balance of sweetness and richness. We also enjoyed the toro mushroom, mango shrimp tempura, and California roll — all were delicious, but the mango mushroom really stood out with its unique flavor combination.

For appetizers, we had the salmon cups, which were not only tasty but also beautifully presented — super cute! We ended the meal with matcha tiramisu and tea for dessert, which were absolutely delightful — not too sweet, with a rich matcha flavor.

On top of the great food, our server was very friendly and made the experience even better. Overall, everything was excellent — fresh ingredients, thoughtful flavor pairings, warm service, and a lovely vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was superb. Every hand roll I devoured was so different than the next but equally delicious. I highly recommend the Toro Mushroom roll and the cod rolls (both the Miso Butter and the OG Miso). I also would advise sitting outside, if possible, because the only real thing missing here was the atmosphere. I could have also done without ordering the Boston Lobster roll, but that might just be a personal preference. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and do plan to go back.

We were super excited to try this spot 🤩 It has a very cool and casual vibe. Perfect for a low-key date night, rather than a special occasion. Note there are no alcaholic drinks and the menu beyond hand rolls is fairly limited.
The hand rolls are delicious and the fish quality was excellent! The portion sizes are on the smaller side. We had 8 hand rolls each, and still left hungry. Fun and tasty experience but be prepared to order extra and spend more if you’re hungry!

Absolutely phenomenal food and service. Wait can be a bit long but is worth every minute, came twice in two days, and was one of the best meals.

Really nice handroll place. Mango Salmon was the highlight, with Cod, Spicy Tuna and Foie Gras coming behind.
