Absolutely phenomenal spot! Max's is the real deal – an authentic, friendly deli with fantastic food at prices you just can't beat in Boston. The staff are brilliant and make you feel right at home. Whether it's a hearty breakfast or a classic, piled-high deli sandwich for lunch, they nail it every time. If you're looking for a genuine deli experience without the frills, just great food and great service, this is your place. Can't recommend it enough!

My husband wrote a review about the lack of respect from workers towards customers in another language (Spanish), and I must say it was awful. Food wasn’t terrible, although extremely expensive.

Service was so bad, with the girls on the sandwich line clearly not caring for the customers as they spoke badly about them in Spanish (I’m Hispanic). Never returning.

Max's catered the Sunday lunch for the MS Challenge Walk and provided excellent food and friendly staff to tired walkers who had just walked 50 miles. Max's is awesome!
