Travelled from Ireland ?? and was looking for a small diner and this place didn't disappoint. Sandwiches made fresh and breakfast was lovely. Extremely well priced and lovely staff ?

This place restores my sanity. Its that for real. Old school feel. Name something and i bet its on the menu. Staff is wicked cool. If youve seen it and never been, its worth it.

Came here for a late breakfast, since it was close to our hotel. Can't say enough good things about the place. Prices were reasonable, especially for being in the heart of the city. Portions were generous and everything tasted great! I had the traditional breakfast with bacon and it came with a heaping pile of home fries, and a couple. nice slices of sourdough toast. My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't thickly sliced. My daughter had the Challah French toast and gave it two thumbs up!

I order the sane thing daily. Always a problem. Today I order over the phone, go in, and nobody has my order. Terrible staff.

Great local place to grab food when in Boston

The food was amazing, generous portions, a very large variety and very affordable. I highly recommend their breakfast. The French toast was the best I’ve ever had. The bagels were also very good. We ate here 3 times in four days, the staff made us feel like family. I would certainly be a regular if I lived in Boston.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better place to eat breakfast in Boston not only because the prices are so affordable but also because the speed with which they serve your is unexpectedly fast. It helps that taste very good too.

The pastrami is fresh! Fatty and delicious. It’s made quick. You gotta fight for your place in line sometimes which makes ordering kind of a free for all but the food is really great!

Friendly staff and great food. Would definitely eat at Max's again.

This place used to be so good, the food is just mediocre at best now and way overpriced. The cashier is rude and the staff act bothered when you order. They will also look you dead in the eye that they understand your order and then they will leave 1 of the 3 ingredients in your sandwich off your sandwich. Could be worse but only if you got punched in the stomach on way out.

breakfast sandwiches are so greasy, very soggy bread! i asked for a ham&cheese during breakfast/9am and they REFUSED to make this for me on more than 1 occasion! They would make me a greasy ham,egg & cheese but not a ham&cheese. of course they over-charge as well!
