Great food,great place for breakfast
Their yahoo sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich ever
I can see why this place was busy. The food was perfect. The staff was perfect.
Place was clean & plenty of seating.
Food was ready quick & the plate / portion size was pretty big.
Definitely will be returning.
This is the spot
Came for breakfast on a visit to see a friend. The breakfast burrito was super good. I've never had such big chunks of meat in a breakfast burrito before (this is a compliment). The French toast was also super flavorful.
We ordered chicken and waffles, not so good chicken over cooked and burnt , waffles was good you can tell it's frozen chicken, breakfast quesadilla were ok their version of salsa is cut up tomatoes and old dried jalapeños overall we will not not be coming back

McKennas is one of the top choices for breakfast in Boston. The menu has a wide variety of choices for lunch also. The scenery is cool filled with old school classic diner pics. Everything I’ve tried was pretty good if not excellent. I like they have non dairy options for coffee and also vegetarian. Just get there early on weekends or be prepared for a light wait.
Parking: You have to find a spot on the street you may have to walk back a minute or so after finding a good spot on a busy day
Kid-friendliness: Cool for kids too
Wheelchair accessibility: Small place but is located on the first floor may be hard moving around

McKenna’s has a clean, fun diner-type atmosphere . It was crowded, but we figured that was a good sign. It is right next to the T station. Service was excellent. Our food was good, what I would expect at a diner.

Excellent Boston style diner; an institution frequented by the local police and fire departments — a strong testimonial for any diner.

A neighborhood classic in Savin Hill serving decently affordable and decent food. The line is insane on weekends.
