Wanted to like it since it’s the only Indian restaurant in Eastie. Like others have said the Chicken Tiki Masala was just tomato paste and very little chicken. I couldn’t even taste any spices. Also portion size was super small for an expensive price. Wish they would read these reviews and revamp their menu. Where’s Gordon Ramsey when you need him!
Great service and food, they were so nice and helpful, I just ask them to surprise me, the goat dish was amazing!
Use to be decent Pakistani food. We just ordered tonight and did not taste fresh. Spent $41 for something that tastes worse than a trader Joe's frozen dinner. It tastes like they just heated up precooked food in a microwave. We ended up not eating it.I called to let them know and the guy was as nice as possible offering me free food and trying to make it right. I told him I just want good food and no need for free food. He was extremely nice. But it's hard when the food is not something I would even eat if it's free.
The place was smelly. It looked shady from the beginning. We wanted Indian food, so we stayed. We got lamb biriyani which was not fresh. There was only one person who acted both as our waiter and cook. You can literally see their dirty kitchen from the sitting arena. My highest frustration kicked in when he denied taking the payment by credit card and asked us to pay by cash. Then he also did not give us any receipt when we asked for it.Oh! We went there on tuesday and the place was closed. Google shows wrong hours. But alas! Our luck took us there pn wednesday to face the ultimate disappointment.
Ordered via Uber Eats, they did not send half the items, the ones that arrived were stale, and clearly old food heated up. The naan was stale undercooked.
Taste good! I liked the food!
I Wish I could give a better rating. The service was terrible. We had a very difficult time ordering our food and communicating our dietary needs. Not sure if they did it right because I’m feeling sick the next day. They brought out an extra dish of food we didn’t order. All the food came to the table in takeout boxes. We had to ask for plates. We were never checked on.When we went to pay, the waiter insisted on a cash tip. Very rude.If you want takeout, it’s probably a good deal.
1. Please don't mix normal rice with Basmithi rice2. Tomato should not be cooked with biryani3. Please do not add rice and daal in Haleem( it's more of a daal rice than Haleem)4. Please add biryani spices to biryani (mace [javitri], cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, shah jeera, bay leaf, clove)
Smallest portion for $17, it doesn’t worth that. If you are planning to have lunch or dinner don’t waste your time. They will ask you for ordering, they don’t let you sit even. No parking area, no service person, why they even open I didn’t get that.
A chicken biryani or lamb biryani should have more than 3 pieces of meat. It’s literally a whole bunch of rice and the meat is barely there.

Minus Minus Minus Zero. Worst food. Please don’t order or go In person. Not worth giving a star.
Look elsewhere - Chicken Tikka Masala is essentially just tomato paste with very little chicken. Lamb Briyani is a ton of rice, but less than half a lamb chop worth of meat. Go a few blocks to Tawakal Halal Cafe instead.
One of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. I think most places deserve a huge pass for having to deal with COVID and all the changes that brings but this place is just not trying. Service (I assume it was the owner since he was only person there) was insanely rude. Asked for my order while he was talking then finally got off the phone and made me repeat the whole order again and then kept waving hands to rush me. I could go on but he was very unpleasant. Portion sizes were extremely small and the food was bad. Just baaad. The naan had zero salt. As in, they forgot to put salt so it tasted blander than white rice. The rice was super over cooked and even though the portions where small the chicken masala had MAYBE a quarter of a chicken breast in it. All around a complete waste of money. Ended up leaving and getting additional food elsewhere.
Drove from 20 miles away n picked up food, my order was mixed grill, biryani and Keema Naan. I made stupid mistake of trusting them n didn't check food by opening before bringing home, keema Naan was regular Naan with no keema in it all and they charged me 5 bucks for it. Biryani tasted like simple Chawal with little to no meat at all....mixed grill was somewhat decent and that is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1......Avoid if you can.....
When we got there on 6 pm during a week day it was closed. Not sure if it has permanently closed but it seems like its closed
