Food was great including vegetarian options. Dessert was the best I've had in any restaurant so far. I had the Dark chocolate marquis. Service was excellent. We were six of us to celebrate my birthday. All of us had an amazing time.

A couple of things off the top. There is a $50 charge per person when canceling a reservation less than 48 hours from the actual reservation. I don't think this was communicated to me before or during the reservation process via OpenTable. I saw it after and was disappointed as plans do change and things do come up. When my friend asked how dead set I was on eating here, I almost had a heart attack at the prospect of paying for nothing.

I recently went to Meritage with my wife for dinner on her birthday. It was an amazing experience and my wife has been on cloud-9 since. This is less a dinner out and more a dining experience. The staff are all top tier professional and offered a complimentary champagne and wrote a nice happy birthday note on the desert dish for the special occasion. My wife had an amazing view of the harbor which she loved as well.

Highly recommended! Went there with my gf to celebrate our anniversary. The waitstaff was perfect, the food was amazing, and it was an all-around wonderful evening. Looking out on the water during dinner, we decided to go for a walk... and got engaged. Meritage will always have a special place in our hearts.

Went here for my birthday last Friday. Unbelievable! Pricey, but well worth it. The food is outstanding. My boyfriend ordered the oysters for an appetizer and the scallops as his entree. He said the scallops were the best he's ever had- flavorable throughout and cooked to perfection. He said his oysters tasted like they had been hand-picked straight from the ocean. I'm a vegan, so I ordered the salad appetizer and forest entree. The salad was very beautiful and fresh, and had a super yummy house-made vinegarette. I was concerned about the entree because I'm not a fan of mushrooms and it was the only vegan option. By far the BEST mushrooms I've ever had! I'm not sure how they prepared them, but they were unreal. So flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even my boyfriend enjoyed the dish (he despises mushrooms). We ended our celebration with the blackberry desert- highly recommend. This place is above and beyond. The service and food is like that of no other restaurant- to perfection!

One of the best dining experiences. The staff were very professional and welcoming. They answered all of my questions. They did not cut corners. My wife and I came away looking foreword to coming back. The food was was just as spectacular as the view. We had the Sirloin and the chicken cordon bleu.

I had a great time here but expected a lot more from this restaurant. We got the 6 course tasting menu and a bottle of their most expensive champagne. Best champagne i've had by far!! Sweet Pea Soup: 4/5 i really loved this dish but my friend wasn't that big of a fan. It's on the sweeter side and it was a cold soup. I felt the flavors meshed together quite well and the saffron cream was lovely. Ora King Salmon and Yuzu Tartar: 4/5 very good but not the best salmon I've ever had. Loved the marinade Black Pepper Rubbed Roast Duck Breast: 5/5 probably my favorite out of everything. I don't order duck often, and this had me craving duck after. Grilled Hanger Steak: 2/5 not a big fan of hanger steak in general and wasn't impressed by this. The meat wasn't as tender as I wouldve liked Apenzeller Cheese: 3/5 we were pretty full by then and didn't eat much of this. Nothing really special Blue Hubbard Squash Cheesecake: 3/5 it was decent but not good enough to finish. I just had a couple bites. The cheesecake was creamy and more on the tart side The service was impeccable and the views were beautiful. I loved the venu and would come back again just for the setting. The food is nothing spectacular for the price point, but it was good nonetheless.
