Our dinners were seasoned with a lot of spicy which the menu/ingredients did not specify. Although we enjoy some spicy in our food, we would have chosen something else if the server would have indicated so since the dish description on the menu did not. The music was so very loud and we could not hear ourselves talking, while heading out we walked out with 3 other couples we did not know who made the same comment. We could not hold a conversation over the loud music.

The restaurant week menu was disappointing (flavorless soup, undercooked eggplant, painfully spicy red sauce, odd textured pork loin) however the salads, desserts, and wine pairings were spectacular. The service was also kind, but we felt bad sending the lukewarm soup back and didn't want to make any more of a fuss. It must have been an off day—we've been there before in November and it was outstanding.

Definitely coming back for their smoked short-rib lasagna. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. Cannot wait to come back in the summer for a sunset dinner.

We had such an amazing night at Mida. The vibes were immaculate. Justin, Abby and Corey took such good care of us the entire night! They were attentive and provided the best recommendations. The food pairings felt very thoughtful and fun. The duck wings, crispy polenta, and the carrots were the perfect way to start. We had several of the sweet cocktails and they were all refreshing. We loved the Amalfi Coast and the Tropicales. We also really enjoyed the pork pasta and the braised short rib lasagna. 10/10 would totally recommend. And we’ll definitely be back. Finally, we were feeling satisfied but needed to try the gelato in addition to some lovely dessert drinks. The gelato was elegant and a perfect cap to the night, appreciated the smart dash of olive oil to bring out the texture and flavor!!All in all, while the food and ambiance was very charming - the real treat was the folks who keep Mida running. Special shout out to Corey for sharing a beautiful list of spots that were just as special in the area ❤️We love you, Mida

Food, Drinks, Atmosphere & Vibes were all amazing. Staff was pleasant and friendly but... Service was slow for a Sunday night on St. Patrick's day of all days (aka mostly empty Italian restaurant on an Irish holiday). We had a reservation and arrived 10 mins early. The table wasn't ready, so we grabbed drinks at the bar while we waited. They said they'd let us know, but it took at least 10 minutes just to order a drink at the bar on a seemingly slow night. We drank our drinks and waited patiently, but they never alerted us the table was ready until we asked. We saw several people eating the one appetizer we came for at the bar, and when we finally got to our table to order the app, we were told they were sold out. I'm sure they are still working out the kinks with the new opening. Aside from the timing issue, the food was delicious. We ordered the fried polenta and carrot with yogurt appetizers, the sausage pizza, and a short rib pasta to share. The short rib dish is a MUST ORDER. So tender and flavorful. We really enjoyed the food and views from Eastie!! Will definitely be back and hope for more regular service.

Beautiful, modern layout for the restaurant south. Decent lighting and spacious table seating. Our server need attention to details was very organized and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our meals were decent 7/10 Pizza - solid size not enough cheese for my liking was sauce with a splash of grated cheese Short rib lasagna- ? portioned just right and flavorful Muscles- large portions with a broth/sauce that made the bread taste like heaven The duck wings - not as meaty as chicken wings so tasted as if they were over cooked. Seasoned perfect just not enough meat on the bone ?

I've been to MIDA three times. The food has always been excellent, and the location is stunning, but the previous two times, including last night, we were disappointed in the service. We've had food come out at different times, waited a long time with empty wine glasses and, last night, we got our last entree after we said we didn't want it anymore because everyone else had already finished eating. They still brought us the entree and didn't charge us, but my wife pretty much rushed to eat a few bites before packing the rest up to go. Our waiter was pleasant and understanding, but could have done a better job of communicating about the delay. I really want to love MIDA, but I probably won't return after having poor experiences with service twice in a row. I was hoping my first bad experience was due to them only being opened a short time, but was disappointed to have another bad experience last night.

Restaurant is not very big and this creates a little coziness. Staff is very attentive and food is delicious. We tried calamari and mussel for appetizers, three entrees, pizza and desert. It was all great. Highly recommend it. Parking can be a little tough. You will need to find parking on the street and then walk to the restaurant. There is no valet.

really nice surprise. I tried the south end MIDA and it was great. This is just as good with a better view. right on the water. Great food. Really nice wait staff. Go before it gets to popular!!! and you can't get a reservation!

The views from the restaurant are stunning, as is the interior design of the restaurant itself. Our waiter was very knowledgable and also very patient with my kids' many questions! You could tell he was passionate about the food there as well. The cocktails were creative without being too fussy and even the non alcoholic offerings were sophisticated. The mussels were delicious with a touch of spice for the broth. The pasta dishes were all outstanding- even better than we expected. We came for a birthday and told the restaurant in advance and they brought a selection of delicate and flavorful desserts with one candle, which was celebratory and also not over the top. This is a special spot (and a little difficult to find if it's your first time here)!

We loved Mida in Eastie! The view of Boston was spectacular and the restaurant ambience was beautiful. The food was also amazing, we tried two pastas and the tomato pie and everything was delicious! We will be back!

I went for the Valentine's Day special and thought that the views of Boston were great. Nestore cares for his customers and wants everyone to have an enjoyable time at Mida in East Boston.

I had such high hopes for this MIDA location, however it was a disappointment. The views are spectacular, the ambiance is very cool —everything else, meh. My chicken wasn't cooked, and after sending it back, the next one was way overcooked and tough. Also ordered coffee that arrived without cream/sugar and after asking for those items, by the time we got it, we realized we didn't have any spoons, so needed those items, but by this point the coffee was now cold, so it needed to be replaced. We originally ordered 4 cups, but only 3 were delivered and then had to wait significantly for the 4th cup. There was just a lot of missteps and was disappointed.

Delicious food. Impossible to find if you don't know the area. Dropped off by Uber and walked around aimlessly until we asked someone. Ambiance was not what I expected. First table they offered was by a giant pillar and under a speaker. Second table, My husband sat facing the kitchen. Then he switched seats and sat next to me and we could look out the windows together. But food was yummy, thanks goodness.
