A bar with live music in JP. Remember to bring cash - no credit cards! They've been at this for a while, and the place looks tired, but we need more live music venues to help bands start out. The drinks are not expensive for Boston - worth a look if you find a band who plays the type of music you like.
So, just walking in off the street, it’s a great neighborhood bar with a fantastic selection of beers, a bartender who is friendly, funny and pours a great pint of Guinness. But… Thursday nights are Queeraoke, and it’s as fantastic as it sounds. Great DJ, fantastic crowd and amazing singers. It’s a great time for everyone!
There’s no way to not rate Miday 5*. Sure it’s cash only and the bathroom probably has the entire hepatitis alphabet, but it’s not the type of place you go expecting a Applebees. The Sunday night open mic is great and the bartender is super quick.
