A pair of Margheritas with a basket of tortilla chips and guacamole. A nice way to finish off a visit to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. A little blustery the day we were there, but could see this as a fantastic place when the weather permits outdoor seating. Definitely a good enough reason to return.

I have had great experiences with a past server at this business. Unfortunately, the server at the opening shift on Tuesday morning ruined my groups airport experience. She walked over to our table without an introduction or even a hello. She immediately asked for our order without giving us 2 min to look at the menu. When a majority of my group wasn’t ready to order she rolled her eyes and walked away without a word. She continued treating us poorly and with a serious attitude, it was extremely upsetting and the restaurant itself is normally my go to. We asked for drink menus before the drink time opened at 8 am, just to see what we may order. Yet, she never came back to ask for our order. Overall, our experience was very unpleasant due to servers attitude and lack of empathy.

A friend and I went out for dinner after watching a comedy show. At this restaurant after we got thru eating I saw a rat run across the floor. I thought My mind was playing tricks on me so I froze. My friend kept asking if I was okay so I whispered to her. Afterwards I went to the bathroom and came back. And saw the same rat run back to where it came from and I squealed. I was so scared. So I told her "let's go let's get the check". So we got our check and went to see if we can check out early because our waitress was taking forever to return to our table. So our waitress Caitlin ended up meeting us at the register and that's when I discreetly told her what I saw. By my surprise, Caitlin's immediate response was "you see them in your home what's the problem ? You got them all in your home. " I was like "huh excuse me?" So Caitlin repeated it again and rolled her eyes and continued checking out our tab. That's when I told her that I was from Texas and where I'm from we don't have that issue. So Caitlin said in response " I'm sure you've seen worst in Texas". At that moment I got upset. I further told her that I lived in the suburbs. Caitlin then throws our cards down after checking us out, rolls her eyes & storms off. Her coworker heard her and froze and asked me if she should get the manager for me and I replied "yes please". I told the waitress that assisted us with the manager that our waitress was extremely rude & I mentioned that she had no right to speak to people in such a manner especially to customers. off and said you don't talk to people like that. So the manager gets to us and I told him and apparently she does this to a lot of people. This isn't her first time because he kept saying "I know I'll talk to her". It almost felt like he was brushing off her behavior and he was aware of the rodent infestation. He mentioned that they came from the patio outside. In my slight over 30 years in life, I've traveled both internationally & continental, and I have NEVER heard of this being an issue for a restaurant establishment. Typically where I'm from in Texas, any sightings of that will get your business shut down immediately. I was shocked by his response. He apologized and was like he'll talk to her. That's all we got. It was like slapping a band aid on & moving right along. I've never been to an establishment that had such horrendous customer service, had rodents running around and still managed to be OK with everything. My racist experience at this facility has allowed me to confirm that racism is real and certain people have no problem letting it be known. The food was okay except the rice I ordered was stale and tasted like it came from a box. My friends wings look nice & was ok. Overall the service is horrendous.

The food was nothing special. My boyfriend got the chicken burrito which was okay. I had the traditional salad with chicken. The chicken was undercooked in some pieces and other pieces were really tough. I didn’t end up eating the chicken that was an up charge. I’d go elsewhere. Service was alright.

I was in town from Philadelphia with my husband for work looking for somewhere good to eat and who doesn’t love Mexican so after a quick Google search and then an Instagram search, we decided on Mija Cantina. After a very short walk from our hotel, the canopy Hilton we arrived. I did make a reservation online however, it was really not needed on a Monday night. It wasn’t too crowded.Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and seated. I would first like to say our server Jose was amazing. He was very friendly, present and fast we couldn’t thank him enough. The food was amazing. Everything was good… I had a jalapeño margarita I think that’s what it was called 10 out of 10.. we had an appetizer of chili lime wings, 10 out of 10 my husband had three taco entrée of chicken Tinga, which I stole a bite of 10 out of 10!! I also had the three taco entrée of shrimp, Carnitas and steak again delicious!! Lastly, my street corn chefs kiss I love me some street corn! If I lived in Boston, I’d probably be there every weekend. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the experience.

Overpriced for what you get. Margs were just okay, and chicken was slightly under cooked. Also chips and salsa are not free.

A fun atmosphere, friendly bartenders and good drinks. Stopped in for a snack and one drink each. A wee expensive, but expected for being right downtown. They have tequila flights. I'd go back!
