The reputation is deserved. I especially enjoyed the incredible peanut butter brownie and carrot cake slice that I ordered, but I can't imagine you'd go wrong with any other item from the case that catches your eye.
There is no seating, literally, not a single table or chair for customers in the whole building, not one. Don't even bother if you want to enjoy your pastry's there, you will have to stand and eat them. So walked a few doors down to Modern Pastry, they had great coffee drinks and basically the same pastries with seating and table service. About 40 people at Modern Pastry tonight, 2 people in Mike's, and they we kneeling on the ground eating their pastries. We saw...
I understand that there are always lots of people but hope that there should be proper line or queue. Yes, there is line before you walk in the store but once you get in, it seems like you just walk right up to the counter and order. It ended up that I waited in line for nothing.
Can’t deny that the pastry there is good but with the service and unorganized, I have to think before go back there again.
