Great food - consistently the best in Boston. The service is always attentive and the wine list is quite solid.
Had a fantastic 23rd anniversary dinner at Mistral on a Sunday evneing. It exceeded all of our expectations and was a fantastic evening.
Mistral is one of our favorite restaurants in Boston. The food and service are always superb!
Outstanding food - could not go wrong with anything we ordered. Loved the cocktails as well. Service was phenomenal, usually cordial and prompt is just fine for my purposes, but this was a wonderful experience where we actually felt like guests and not just diners.
Went in for a major wedding anniversary. Food was perfect. Presentation and quality was excellent. Service not as attentive for this level of restaurant. Atmosphere was visually good...but loud drunk table next to us really was disappointing for our major life event...managers did not do anything to solve the problem.
Could not have a conversation over a drunk woman yelling for an hour, on our 20th wedding anniversary dinner.
Other tables joined our complaints about the noise, but nothing was done. Not an effective way to keep
wealthy clients. Sad management. Would not recommend for a major life event dining experience.
Mistral was recommended. What a wonderful find! Great atmosphere and our meal was excellent! Highly recommend. Kyle our server was exceptional. Thank you Bonnie and Louis for the recommendation!
Fancy and elaborate. Had a special function here, had a great time. Great food and wide selection of drinks. The trio dessert was ingenious! Would highly recommend.
I just love the food & the people watching and the great wine! Thanks for a great dinner as always!
Too loud to enjoy fine food. Had to skip desert cause too painful to be there. Mgr was quick and cool with response to a reasonable request
Excellent food, service and dining room but for some reason they allow children. We had a table of four near us acting like it was a TGI Fridays and then two other children running through the otherwise beautiful screaming like banshees. This is what babysitters are for, folks.

Food was wonderful. Id recommend the beef tenderloin pizza to share as an app. The grilled tenderloin with horse radish potato’s was awesome and the steak was cook perfect. We had reservation and were seated right away. Server was excellent and super attentive! Would highly recommend.
The Dover sole was probably the best I've ever had. Service by Kyle and his team was excellent.
I'm not sure if the kitchen was having an off night or if it was because I arrived towards the end of the evening when the kitchen was getting ready to close around 9pm but some of the food was not prepared correctly. Both the duck and the Dover sole were overcooked and barely edible for this type of fine dining establishment. The cocktails were phenomenal, as was the beef Carpaccio appetizer and the dessert. I'll give them another chance in the future and hopefully the entrees will be better.
Wonderful meal. Outstanding food and impeccable service. The best French restaurant in the city.
Every time we're in Boston, we make it a point to die in at our favorite restaurant, Mistral. The dining room is exquisitely appointed with beautiful lighting, perfectly designed to entice you visually as well as gastronomically. My usual go to are the foie gras parfait and my partner has either the Caesar salad or French onion soup with a puff pastry dome. This time I decided to try the appetizer special, which was a salmon tartare. It was refreshingly delightful!!! it had an avocado moose base topped with silky salmon, sesame seeds, combined with a delectable Asian vinaigrette. Our entree's included the roasted half duck with a cranberry gastrique and wild mushroom risotto as well as the roasted salmon with parsnip purée. We finished our meal sharing the very popular profiteroles. As usual, they were delicious!
