Everything was what you would wish for when you dine out. The food was delicious. The entrees were all hot and the Cesar salad was delightfully crisp and cold! Everyone loved their dish. Beautiful restaurant. Attentive staff. We would dine there again in future when visiting Boston.

Poor service. Food came out all at once (appetizers and entrées together) and the when we asked them to space out the entree, we waited 90 mins for it to come out! No explanation or apology frm the restaurant. This is hardly a fine dining experience, let alone French cuisine

We enjoyed an annniversary dinner at Mistral last evening. The staff were welcoming, we received complementary shampagne, the waiter was excellent and the food was extraordinarily excellent. I can't imagine having a more pleasant evening anywhere in Boston.

Over the decades, Mistral remains simply one of the very best restaurants in Boston for the quality of its food, it's service and it's ambience. Whenever we have guests, and want to be certain, we go to Mistral. They've never let us down! Last evening was again fantastic.

Truly outstanding! From Artemus our server to the quality of the food-awesome. The rack of lamb was best I ever had. The molten chocolate cake was perfect. Service was excellent. My definite favorite restaurant in Boston hands down!

The mushroom carpaccio was truly amazing. I also loved the fresh loaf of bread on the table. We had a lovely anniversary dinner!

We had a wonderful experience for our Wedding Anniversary. The fish was delicately prepared and delicious. The petit fillet was perfect. Brian, our server, was very attentive. He answered our question to our satisfaction.

We had the best experience at Mistral! The service ,food, and atmosphere were excellent. We loved the tuna tartare, French onion soup, sirloin steak, and tenderloin pizza. Can't wait to go back!

The mussel's appetizer was interesting. It tasted like a really good bowl of clam chowder. The steak was cooked to perfection, but I would say for $72, I was expecting a lot more. It was about 1/2 the size (thickness) of what you get from the Grille 23, Abe and Louis, etc. Apps were great and the truffle fries were more than enough for 2. Great atmosphere, staff, and ambience.

Of course, I’m biased—we were in an especially good mood tonight celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. But the truth is, if this had been an ordinary Friday night at any point over the last 30 years, I would be writing the exact same thing. An amazing dinner. The professionalism, care, and culinary expertise at Mr. Alan exceed expectations at every level. An outstanding cocktail and wine program perfectly complements a kitchen grounded in classic French technique. Highlights included the escargot, salmon tartare, and a beautifully executed Dover sole. And the tart to finish? Absolutely unforgettable. If you’ve never been, go—soon. You don’t know what you’re missing.

The valet parking staff are very unprofessional and they ask for more money to park front just based on the car model you are driving. Some people are the reception are rude and unprofessional either. Did not direct me to my table, instead, let me wait while checking other people in. I understand they only have limited staff, but it was just very rude of them asking me to “move and make room for others” and did not even tell me that they wanted me to wait for a sec. We waited for almost 50 minutes for the main course. We ordered the duck and there were even feathers in the duck skin. The food is fine and the servants are very nice.

I originally made a resey for our group @La Padrona. As it was a business dinner. I switched to Mistral because of the noise level @La Padrona. Since we actually had business to discuss. As usual, your food and service were exceptional. Nicholas is an outstanding team leader as he helped me juggle my timing.
