Tasty, chicken momo masala was amazing, and paired well with the roti. Madras lamb curry wasn’t bad either. Would definitely return if back in Jamaica Plain
Really enjoyed the steamed momos and madras shrimp curry. I also liked the chicken tikka masala

I appreciate Momo Masala as a neighborhood restaurant option—great flavors and menu! I have found them to be a bit unreliable for take out, sometimes forgetting parts of the order and most recently serving moldy bread (see photo). But even with bad experiences, I do still love the food… For that reason, I’d recommend dining in!

What a gem. It’s rare to come across a place that serves truly good momos, and these taste just like the ones back home. The jhol momos were especially memorable. Highly recommended.

love their jhol momo and veg chowmein noodles! Updated from previous review on 2025-12-23
The food here is the best Nepalese and Indian food in the neighborhood. But recently they started using food dye in some of the green dishes (like Hariyali momo), which I don't love. Please let the food stand on its own because it really is great!

I recently visited Momo Masala, and it was a great experience overall. The food was flavorful, freshly prepared, and served hot. Their momos were especially delicious — juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The spices were balanced, and the portions were generous for the price.
The service was friendly and quick, and the place had a comfortable vibe. Everything felt clean and well-managed.

Not willing to come back here again. The momos were good, but the curries I ordered were not at all tasty. If the chefs cannot make a dish as per the customer requests, the customers should be informed about that. We were told that they will make the butter chicken spicy, along with the mention of the curry generally being on the sweeter side, but that they can make it real spicy if we wanted. It was even more sweeter than any other restaurants generally offer. When we went to pay the bill, we were charged for both the curries, but were denied by the manager. Frustrated, we just told him to take the card, make the payment but that we will never come back here. The manager told us “it’s fine”. Definitely not coming to a place that values bill payments over customer loyalty.

We ordered momo (chilly and soup), manchurian and appetizers via Uber Eats. Manchurian was modest in taste, but we found that there were mixture of stale and fresh momo, at least one in soup and multiple in chilly. This is such a worst experience in Boston. Never had such experience before in the US. Momo are just decent in taste, large in size but nothing special; however, soup of the soup momo was delicious.

Very good food, fast service. Their dine in food is amazing, but I'm also a huge fan of getting takeout. Their lunch deal is a great price!
