Vinoteca di Monica is a well-known restaurant in the North End that offers a memorable dining experience. The menu features a variety of Italian dishes, including grilled calamari, ravioli with shaved truffles, seafood risotto, and Alfredo sauce. The portions are well-balanced, making each meal satisfying. Customers have praised the outstanding cuisine, especially the lobster ravioli (Ravioloni di Aragosta) and the excellent service. They also enjoy the diverse range of dishes, such as the new favorite pizza with figs, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and capicola, along with seafood linguine and squid ink pasta. The chicken soup and pear walnut salad are also highly appreciated, and chicken Marsala is enjoyed by many.
The atmosphere at Vinoteca di Monica is described as amazing, creating a great vibe for a nice meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Despite being very crowded, the service remains top-notch and timely. The menu offers a wide range of choices that impress guests, from fresh pasta and succulent meats to excellent wines. Even the bread is considered above average. Recent reviews highlight the delicious Salsiccia pizza and Fettuccine alla Panna, with the added chicken perfectly cooked. The pasta dishes, including lobster fra diavolo and shrimp and scallop linguine, are praised for their freshness and flavor, with the sauces being garlicky and subtly sweet. Guests note that the linguine is fresh and incredible, though some mention that lobster meat served chopped rather than knuckles and claws detracts a bit from the dish's quality. Service and reservation issues have been noted, with some guests experiencing delays and billing discrepancies. Overall, the restaurant provides a great Italian experience, often described as transporting diners to Italy, with a lively yet enjoyable atmosphere that encourages returning before the visit ends.
