We had a fantastic lunch at Monument in Charlestown! Our group tried a mix of dishes—pizza, the smash burger, Caesar salad, and my husband and I split the cheesesteak—and every single one was a hit. Everyone raved about their food. I especially appreciated the option to get half salad and half fries as a side—such a smart portion and both were excellent.

From the crisp Caesar to the perfectly seasoned fries and hearty mains, everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was great too—our server made solid recommendations and kept drinks refilled without us having to ask. The space itself is also a vibe—warm, stylish, and would be a fun spot to catch a game or hang out at the bar. We’d definitely come back!

Very old building with plenty of charm. The food was delicious
Non meat options and a kids menu

Was there for NYE. The bartender had an attitude and clearly flopped the edge of a bar towel in my glasses before pouring. Intentional or not it’s disappointing from a worker of this restaurant group whose staffing is usually 5/5.

Have been back twice since and each time was more disappointing. Food was mediocre which would have been ok but about 20% of the staff just has such an attitude. (Note the waiters/waitresses have all been great!)

Great Sunday morning breakfast! The brambleberry French toast was a great combination of ingredients, the breakfast pizza was good, the eggs a little over cooked. The birria breakfast taco was delicious.

Outstanding food and drinks! This spot is the perfect wind-down stop after a day of exploring the nearby historic sites. The servers are friendly and speedy, there is plenty of seating, and the prices are surprisingly moderate despite the prime location.

Ordered the wings and the grilled cheese and tomato soup.

The best part of the meal was the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. The tomato soup was well seasoned. One of the best tomato soups I have had in while. The cheese and tomato combination was so tasty!

Living in Assembly Row there is an expectation of excellent customer service when I frequent prominent areas in Boston! I landed here because of a mishap up the street; will not disclose the restaurant for integrity purposes hoping it’s a one off. From the phone customer service to the in person my out of state guess celebrating a bday and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch! We were warmly welcomed as walk ins and seated quickly! The smiles, service and food deserves beyond a 5-star!!!! For the Bunker Hill area not being as diverse in certain areas, my diversity was accepted and this restaurant really showed how customer service and a welcoming atmosphere outweighs the society no -inclusive environments! The food was excellent, my out of state guest were very pleased! This is my new spot for brunch lunch and hopefully dinner!!!

After putting my name in for a table and sitting at the bar for over an hour I was told that the four top that has been empty was only for four people and since I only had two in my party they wouldn't see me there. Even though I had been sitting at the bar and tipping the bartender generously. These little kids that run this place really need to learn more about customer service. I'm never going back. There are plenty of places in town to spend my money
