Service was great but food was mediocre. Had to send something back-fish gone bad. That's a huge turn off. Bummer
I enjoyed the Cobb salad and my wife thought the chicken club was very good. the only negative was the umbrellas were not adjustable and the sun was beating down pretty hard.
Loved the food but they were out of a lot of the food and drinks we wanted to order which was a huge bummer. Our server was pretty awful, she acted like she hated us. Our friends got pickle martinis and they didn't feel like it had enough pickle flavor so they asked for some extra pickles or pickles juice and our server said it would be $1 a pickle she brought over. Horrible table side manner.
Cobb Salad was boring. Lettuce with a few items mixed in. That was all. For $17, it could have included an avocado, a little protein or cheese. Pork tacos. Where was the pork? I'm a frequent customer. What is happening to the Monument!
The service continues to be amazing and the food as well! Loved the dips and bruschetta flatbread was a hit!
Loved everything just the tables for two were on top of each other and gave the feeling you were eating with others. Just too close as they become part of any conversation and too stuffy. Other than that it was absolutely fantastic.
Above average food, great energy, quick and attentive service! Good for large parties when the Waverly is booked up.
The Monument Restaurant & Tavern is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious and the vibe is fun! Our waitress Nicole was awesome as usual!
Our waitress was great and the food and wine was lovely. A great way to celebrate our 41st anniversary.
Booked brunch and arrived 30mins early and we were seated without delay. Ordered espresso martini and old fashioned - excellent cocktails. Ordered the birria tacos and breakfast hash - excellent food, very tasty, portion size was not excessive but plenty. Very pleased and would 100% return.

We got seated about 25 minutes after our reservation time, which was a bit frustrating, but the staff was very apologetic. The more frustrating part of the service was how rarely we saw our waiter to order any food or drink. Food was pretty good and the vibe of the place was fun, but it didn't necessarily meet our high expectations based on reviews.
Service, food, and decor/layout was all fantastic! Those garlic knots with the vodka sauce and the sweet potato crunch wrap were both out of this world good.
Overall, it was a good experience. Enough options and variety to choose from. The service was great and the food was good. I love the twist they have on some of their menu items like the birria tacos.
Waitress was extremely accommodating to our large group, half of which were kids. Apps came out fast, delicious food.
We had a fantastic lunch at Monument in Charlestown! Our group tried a mix of dishes—pizza, the smash burger, Caesar salad, and my husband and I split the cheesesteak—and every single one was a hit. Everyone raved about their food. I especially appreciated the option to get half salad and half fries as a side—such a smart portion and both were excellent.
From the crisp Caesar to the perfectly seasoned fries and hearty mains, everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was great too—our server made solid recommendations and kept drinks refilled without us having to ask. The space itself is also a vibe—warm, stylish, and would be a fun spot to catch a game or hang out at the bar. We’d definitely come back!
