I don't kkkw what happened to Monument. They use to make a mean smash burger imo better than Smash burgers. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I opened my food. Soggy wet buns from all the toppings (pickles and excessive onions and tomatoes) do better

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monument in Charlestown with a large party, and I can't praise them enough for their incredible hospitality and outstanding food. Right from the start, they made us feel welcomed and accommodated us with ease, despite the size of our group. They had a great little back corner of the bar set aside for us, we were treated to chips, salsa, and guacamole, which set the tone for the amazing meal to come. The cucumber salsa was a standout, offering a refreshing and unique twist that had everyone at the table raving. It's not something you find just anywhere, and it's a must-try for anyone visiting Monument. And let's talk about the chicken sliders – they were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked and flavored to perfection, these sliders were a hit among our group, capturing the essence of what makes Monument's menu so special.Overall, the combination of friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and delectable dishes makes Monument a top-notch dining destination in Charlestown. Whether you're planning a gathering for a large group or looking for a spot to enjoy a fantastic meal, Monument has you covered. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their culinary creations!

A gem just outside Boston. Service and food were outstanding. We called on a Friday night, and they put us on the table wait list while we drove there. Our table was ready when we pulled up. The waitnress was bubbly, prompt, and helpful with questions. All the food was creative, well presented and delicious, from the app to salad and entree. The atmosphere is youthful music, high ceilings, and a dimly lit long, open area with a bar on one side. It was too dark to read a menu, but otherwise, a nice vibe for a night out.Good beer variety, some nice wines, and for $15 a decent mix drink variety. Prices were reasonable overall and well worth the quality.

Food is just okay and overly heavy. Short rib breakfast tacos lacked any fresh balance without enough onions or whatever the oily bland red sauce they call "salsa roja" could have been. Just okay but for $17 not okay.

Dog friendly patio, great white pizza, awesome cocktails. Brussel sprouts are fire!

The food and beer selection very good but the main problem is don't make a decision to walk in because after 5 they only accept reservations. Not a good practice because there are so many other good restaurants in the area.

Cool atmosphere. Good service. Avocado toast with Mango "Salsa" wasn't the best. It's more like a mango relish. Fried chicken biscuit wasn't bad. Coffee was absolutely awful. It's probably the worst we've had in the world, lol. The Irish Bean drink was delish, though.

The omelette was superb and the goat cheese to go with it made me ecstatic! Can’t wait for next visit!

My partner and I enjoyed a Sunday Brunch here. We ate pancakes and an omelette, both were very delicious. The interior of the restaurant was lovely. The "Juice Box" cocktail was quite refreshing as well. Overall positive experience!

Seriously don’t bother going here. The staff bends over backwards to be obnoxious. It’s almost a favor if they wait on you. They have no problem waiting on the Yuppies, however they bend over backwards to be jerks to the Charlestown crowd.

I've now been here twice. Dinner with a friend in Charlestown and this is a staple in the hood. Solid offerings on both great beers and food. Service both times was really good and the inside has a really nice old feel with a fresh feeling. The salmon poke bowl and Nashville hot chicken dip are both scrumptious. For lunch my favorite is the Italian panini and for dinner the SEAFOOD RISOTTO AL FORNO is outstanding. Everything I've seen come out of the kitchens looks fabulous. This is a bit of an institution in the area and worth the trip.
