Excellent service, delicious food over the decades, just like their old north end location. So many great menu choices!

We got a full try of eggplant parmigiana and a full tray of chicken parmigiana for Christmas Eve, both were delicious. We like our chicken Parmigiana pounded thin, Mother Anna’s was perfect. Eggplant was cooked to perfection. We also like their sauce.

If you care about worker rights and fair treatment, I urge you to reconsider supporting a place that doesn’t respect its employees. It’s disappointing to see how the owner handle its staff, and I wouldn’t trust a business that doesn’t value the people who keep it running.

Don't expect North End food. The dishes have no flavor and the sauces are disgusting. To top it off, the service is horrendously SLOW. It's a staff of young waiters and you feel like you're still in Papa Ginos. I wish. I would've taken a pizza over that awful food.

Sat at the bar tonight and had a great experience! Sara was our bartender she was amazing! Super talkative and gave great advice for food choices. We had the burrata, chicken esquito and the bread pudding. All delicious. Overall great experience. We will be back!

When I was ordering at this restaurant I had the best experience with this young woman by the name of Chloe. She was so nice and efficient with my order. This young woman needs a raise and I don’t think that my experience at this restaurant would have been the same without this young lady!

Northend Italian in the suburbs, Jason was perfect and the food was incredible!

Not Boston. I thought Boston had come close to home. I'll just make the trip to Boston.

The restaurant is comfortable and new. The staff are very nice and attentive. The red sauce and bread is excellent. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. The chicken parm and chicken creation were soggy. The veal marsala was drowning in oil. Admittedly, I was there for lunch and the prices are fairly reasonable for the portion, the portions are not consistent with a typical Italian restaurant. Side pasta served separately and with marinara, which again, is good, but you can't use your entree sauce on the pasta. Hopefully the quality improves so this restaurant doesn't go the same way their Boston branch went.

Just tried Mother Anna’s in Medfield last night. The food was amazing! It was North End dining but without the drive into Boston. The staff were so friendly and the inside was very well designed. They mentioned being reservations only as they get setup which is completely understandable. I’m sure that will change soon. I couldn’t tell they just opened since everything was well organized. I can’t wait to come back again and try take out once they get that started.

Called to place a takeout order she told me they weren’t doing takeout orders. Not a good first impression for the new restaurant

Mother Anna’s has been in my life since I have been old enough to order on my own. I’m a military kid and move around the country but visit boston every six months and Mother Anna’s has always welcomed me in. The restaurant has the best Italian food ever. The lights are glowy and the service is amazing. I love the eggplant rollatini for an appetizer. When in doubt, get red sauce. The restaurant is currently closed and I’m not sure if it will ever open again at this location. I will never forget the restaurant, the food and the laughs I experienced all these years. When I think of Boston I will always think of Mother Anna’s.
I am also a reporter back at home and I can confidently report that the restaurant was a 1000/10.

Food is not to bad BUT very small portions, very expensive and very slow service. Worth checking out once. Maybe just get the coffee, food is decent but they really rip you off with the portions.

Expected better for the price. Lobster fettuccine too sweet. Hard to believe it gets 4 stars on here

Good homemade (fresh) Italian dishes. We had the salad special with burrata, red onion, olive and lettuce. The special lobster fra diavolo was really good. The veal margarita was swimming in butter with not much flavor I would not recommend.
