We sat in the middle of the dining room and the door opening and closing made us very cold. It was a cold day but the kids had to eat with their jackets on. So did some adults. The service was great but the seating leaved a lot to be desired.

Always a delucious and enjoyable brunch at this south boston eatery. Friendly service and good food.

We went for brunch, reservations available, parking was easy in their lot, staff friendly, everything was clean & everyone was very happy with their orders. Given it was brunch, I'm sure it was much different from an evening where I could see the place being crowded at the bar. Definitely recommend and will be going back

Love this place however the main dinning room from the main door is not very welcoming or warm. Things could be rearranged to make it better so that you want to come here for something special .

We made the reservation for 6:15 but didn't get seated until almost 7:00. The hostess was very nice and felt bad about the situation. She gave us free dessert and coffee. The food was very good. Our server, BJ was very friendly and efficient!

It's the oldest restaurant in South Boston. Parking is free in the adjacent parking lot. That's a very rare situation in Boston. We enjoyed the breakfast offered by Mul's Diner, from Amerhein's menu. There were eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, sourdough toast, and home fries. The quality was excellent, and prices are reasonable. Amerhein's can expect a return visit by us soon.

It's not easy to find a reservation in Southie on a Saturday night. Amrheins was terrific. Outstanding food and a great value.

I highly recommend the Chicken Pesto Mozarella sandwich it was cooked perfectly and great flavor and their fries were perfect too. Drink menu was a little sparse, some old favorites of mine were not on the menu anymore and I feel there could have been more variety in the drinks but they were good.

Hometown feel. Food was delicious! The creme brulee French toast was a last minute addition that really made the whole meal. It was the perfectly sweet and creamy. The BLTE was great, but be sure to order the egg over easy otherwise it's a little too dry. The breakfast burrito and homemade corned beef hash are also solid choices!

Jamie IS the BEST! She’s wicked friendly and great host. I would come here everyday just to get some of her positive energy! Food was great you can tell it’s homemade. Love the atmosphere of local bar but inviting to visitors.
