Have to be completely be honest this is my third and final time coming to this establishment. The date of my visit was December 7, 2025 way over priced The lady that makes the plates with the the short haircut is absolutely amazing but the gentleman that does the check out with the bandanna he watches the portions thatās being put in the plates He definitely has an attitude problem. Heās the main reason I will not come besides the food being over priced wish you guys all the best but you guys need to really put a emphasis on pricing where you do Business two plates and a side Shouldnāt be $82 dollars

Great food, wide variety, generous portions. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend 10/10
When I went here I ended up coming a bit confused at the style of cuisine but, later after trying it I end up very impressed. This mix of Trinidadian and Soul Food is like a Happy Marriage. The Curry Chicken, Brown Rice, Macaroni, Collard Greens, and Sorrel I had made for a pretty memorable meal for me. I didnāt not expect food like this to come out of a Small Mom and Popās Shop. I will definitely be coming here again.

I just attempted to complete my meal but the portions were so generous that I couldnāt. I didnāt even get a chance to take any pictures. I bought 2 meals; stew chicken and curry chicken. I had the curry, my friend had the stew. I also tried some of her plate. This stew chicken taste just like the stew chicken that I get at Alpecos on the avenue when I visit Trinidad. Peas and rice taste fresh. Macaroni pie was better than what Iāve had at other Caribbean restaurants in the city, also taste freshly made. We donāt really have any Afro/creole Trinidadian restaurants here in Boston and I will encourage my people and will absolutely support them. My food was delicious and well worth the price. These are generally the same prices that I pay for food at other Caribbean restaurants such as Haitian and Jamaican. My friend who is Dominican thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. She also hasnāt had much Trinidadian food and she loved everything. Everything I had tastes like it was made at home with love. Seasoned to perfection and not rushed. God bless you all and your establishment. Keep cooking and stay positive! You have 2 new frequent customers and look forward to purchasing food at your establishment again soon.
The thing is, there are people who enjoy Trinidadian culture but have not had the opportunity yet to visit Trinidad. If you have been eating Jamaican food and expect a similar taste, itās not the same. People may not be used to the authentic and actual flavors. Trinidadian food has a lot of Asian influence as far as the flavors. Middle eastern too, especially as now a lot of middle eastern people are migrating there. You can literally buy lo mein and Chinese style fried chicken anywhere. Even in Tobago. The flavors are not the same as other island and if you have never been to the twin islands you may not be accustomed to the flavors, yet!

Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!
Great experience all around. I brought 5 plates for me and my family members. Not one complaint by anyone. The food was seasoned with love. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and laid back. I lovedā¤ļø the open concept kitchen (that is a concept that you donāt really find in Caribbean kitchens). Definitely coming back!

Food is okay. Too pricey and just not worth it. Went yesterday and I don't see what the hype is. I met the owner Ragga finally and he's a sweetheart even more in person! He knows I'll be back to see him. I mean them lol
Edit: I'll give more stars when I try something else next time. 11/14 update...I came back 2 times since this review. I'll pass on this restaurant and the owner.
