Went here for a friends birthday - staff went over the top to make it a fun celebration - music, birthday cannolis and limoncello - such a fun night!
great food, very nice and knowledgeable waitress.... We eat here every week as live right down the road. I was sad when SARAH left but the staff that remained is terrific.
First visit - we will be back! Delicious food all around and wonderfully attentive service. Gem in our neighborhood.
The owner of this restaurant is one of the rudest and least hospitable women that I have ever encountered in 3 decades of dining in the North End. The food is good (not great by any means and is nothing special). We had a 5:30 reservation that required a credit card to secure (which is fine) as it was a holiday. We were finally seated at 6:45. We still hadn't ordered at 7:30 and my brother had to leave as his sitter needed to be home by 8 pm. A giant fail all around. I actually felt bad for the employees because the management was so dysfunctional. There are many wonderful dining options in the North End so look elsewhere.
Outstanding. Amazing. It's too bad that we only make a trip to Nando for our anniversary on an annual basis. Even before we sat down to eat, we were treated like family. When I explained that it was our anniversary, and we had eaten our post-nuptials meal with our families at Nando, the family made the night even more amazing. We waited an extra few minutes for a table by the window and then were treated to mouth-watering dishes from our appetizers to our meals. The food here is always excellent and the service here is always great – but we were made to feel like we were the only people in the restaurant for our anniversary, and we cannot thank the family at Nando enough. Now to make our annual trips more frequently will be up to us.....
Our first time and it was nice but very loud. Dinner came out too fast. Felt rushed to eat. It was not relaxing.
Terrific service--attentive but not hovering. Dishes arrived in a well-timed manner. Bar service superb. Dishes very good (I'd like to try this place on a non-holiday b/c I bet it would be out of this world). Noise level almost too high for comfort but not dreadful. Melissa, our service, was out of this world.
Wine was sour. Carbonara tasted off. The waitress didn't know the menu or check on us. It was so disappointing
They have great gluten free accommodations. I got gf gnocchi with vodka sauce and pancetta which was delicious. Unfortunately it does get quite cold if you’re by the exit because of the glass windows and they keep the door open.

Excellent food, service and laid back atmosphere. Almost didn’t go in due to some reviews, but we felt this is one of our favorite North End restaurants now! We ordered the Barbabietola appetizer, and 3 entrees: Risotto Gamberoni Al Zafferano, Agnolotti All’aragosta, and the Filetto. It was All FANTASTIC! We were so pleasantly surprised by the fresh quality and wobderful taste of everything! The filet was tender and perfectly cooked! Potatoes & asparagus were wonderful. Fresh shrimp! Just wonderful flavors. We also had an “Old Fashioned” drink, and it was excellent. Fresh and tasty bread was brought out with olive oil and whole olives in it, and that was excellent too! It was nice to sit with open window views. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly! The owner was there, and he even took pictures with us! It was early so the chef was able to get in our picture as well. Great dining experience at Nando!

Excellent food and friendly service - was just incredibly loud! Loved the open kitchen and unlike other places in the north end you get seated when they say you will - we'll be back!
This was our first time at Nando. Server was amazing, vibe in the restaurant was great. We had the arugula salad and meatballs as an appetizer and would get both again. The mushroom ravioli was amazing!! I was disappointed with the Cacio de Pepe - it was very oily. Overall a worthwhile dining experience and would definitely visit again!
Stopped here with friends ahead of a dinner out on a Sunday evening. The aperitivo atmosphere was a little light, but the bartender was very attentive and mixed up some really good pre-dinner cocktails. Good recommendation for a little snack to go with the drinks.
Very modern atmosphere, the bar seating was very comfortable (even for those of us with short legs), and the place was spotless from a cleanliness standpoint.
Had we been in Boston longer we would have come back for a meal.

We waited an hour outside past our reservation. Once inside, our waitress was great, the food was pretty good and came relatively quick. We were so excited to show friends in town the North End at a restaurant we heard rave reviews about, but were just so disappointed. There was little acknowledgement of the inconvenience. The food was not worth the wait and would not recommend dining here.
The service here was really rough. We were told to come inside since we had a reservation and we were then scolded and given attitude. Wait staff later rushed us out and kept asking us if we wanted a box while I was finishing eating. Food was fine but nothing amazing, so it wasn't a good experience
