Such a cute area of the library to sit in and enjoy a quick snack. The food isn't outstanding, but it's so convenient to be able to grab a coffee and sandwich without leaving. The people who work at the cafe are also friendly.
The food was great for a library cafe, same for the coffee. However, I wish one of the servers mentioned that you can only eat or drink food in certain areas of the library. I'm not sure what those areas are, but it helps. The atmosphere is good as well, and it has a great view of downtown.
Asked for honey and staff was extremely rude instead of simply saying “no”
Loved randomly walking into the Boston Public Library and catching a live recording of Boston Public Radio at the Newsfeed Cafe! Ordered a hearty breakfast sandwich and oat milk latte from a friendly staff member, and although the café was extremely busy, my order came out in less than 5 minutes. Should’ve added in a flavored syrup cause the list looked so delicious. Will return soon!
Love their local and healthy food selections and they make really good lattes with seasonal variations throughout the year, best matcha in the city.
Nice seating area
Everyone was a little busy and it seemed like it wasn’t as functional as it could be. There were 3 workers and a line of 5-7 people, and it felt chaotic.
Overall the food was alright, the ambiance is cool and it’s well located if you wanna grab a bite before visiting the library.
I ordered a cappuccino. The taste was okay, but I like my coffee stronger. What impressed me the most was the service, especially "Shay." He was smiling and very helpful.

Their leek quiche is very tasty! Lots of space to get work done with a snack!

Ordering a small cappuccino yielded an 8 ounce cappuccino with high dry foam, but the espresso was still a bit too hot to drink so I had to wait several minutes. Once I could drink it, it was great!
They only offered to go cups, no ceramic coffee cups.
They also have two flavors of polar seltzer, sparkling water, lime, and plain.

Very nice place, but terrible service from the manager and some employees. My children and I felt discriminated against and had to endure comments and unfriendly looks from one of the staff members. When we reported this to the manager, there was no empathy for our situation. It is very sad that this happens in a place located within a public library. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their background. Thank you for watching the video.

dirty chai wasnt anything to write home about but the generously portioned blueberry coffee cake was to die for! big perk that didnt have to step a foot outside the library. yummo!

Nice enough but overpriced. With 90% of the library users being students (or homeless), I don't understand why they went with this expensive bistro pricing.
Then add the loud talk radio show that disrupts all those trying to study in the library. Curious.

It is regular and little pricy cafe shop.
I got a medium cappuccino and they served me a tinny cup that was only halve full & halve foam. A RIP OFF. I asked to make sure, they said “yeah that’s it” Can’t make this up. Two sips and it was gone.
