Fantastic experience. Great service, great people, and great food. Will go again with my boys.
Food was amazing, service was excellent. But if your looking for a romantic evening or even a nice night out with another couple plan on it being very noisy there.
Can always count on this place for quality food. The 90 minute dining policy can make you feel a little rushed, and had our waiter a little nervous, but I understand. The meal was excellent.
Friendly staff who were attentive and knowledgeable. Food choices were served hot and delicious. Portions very satisfying. Group of 4 all enjoyed our meals!
Everything was amazing. They did have someone sing Italian opera, which was beautiful. I just wasn't expecting it. And it was very loud next to us, and hard to have conversations. Other than that, our food was delicious, service was amazing!
Loved Nico and the food was amazing!! small place but like every place in the north end very small, but great food and great people!!
Amazing spot! Would highly recommend, right in the north end with amazing food and atmosphere.
The food was amazing Nico, besides the fact that if you are seated in the basement they cannot do the special cacio e Pepe in the downstairs section of the restaurant , and I had picked this restaurant for that experience . You pay 35 $ for cacio e Pepe and that's including the experience of having it cooked infront of you, so even if you just have it made and brought down to you, you get charged for the full experience. Other then that service was very quick and fast even thought they were packed , but especially if you are sitting downstairs, prepared to be sitting in persons lap to the table next to you. We were seated the table closest to the bathroom, and they only have one bathroom for both genders so our entire time dining us and the table next to us were being stared down by the women and men waiting online for the bathroom.
Food was very good, our only disappointment was that when the meal was over and we asked to see a dessert menu they said they didn't have any desserts. Kind of felt they were more interested in getting the tabled turned so they could sell more dinners than having us finish our meal off with dessert. Had we know there was no dessert option we might have ordered an additional appetizer.
Absolutely the best!! The pasta is all handmade and delicious. The place was fun and had someone singing also. 10 out of 10.

We were celebrating two birthdays ... seated 5 of us in the basement ... crammed as most North End establishments are. Food and drink were incredible, but expensive. Service was impressively attentive. VERY loud techno music, unfit for a fine Italian restaurant ... could not hear my fellow table mates. Asked to turn it down, they did but still interfered with a fine dining experience.
Love Nico's! I'm from PA and Nico's will always be a must stop for us when we're in the area. Don't miss out!
The best pasta I've ever had!! Get the porcini ravioli, you won't regret it! Service was great too!!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Nico! The service was friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent! Thank you for making our birthday celebration so memorable.
My husband and I tried Nico for the first time and it was outstanding. We got the table side Cacio Pepe and we both loved it and so fun to watch the waiter make it in front of us. The wine was also delicious. We would highly recommend!!
