We had a great dinner at Nico!! We started with bread and oil, and arugula salad and then my waiter suggested the vodka rigatoni with sausage and WOW, it was amazing. The service was awesome!

We had the best time here tonight! Food, drinks and service was beyond a 10! The manager was so kind! Music was upbeat and fun! Birthday shots on the bar was an added bonus! Can't wait to go back! Cacio e Pepe was excellent!

Food was phenomenal and our waiter, Everett was so helpful and attentive. He even brought over two cannolis for dessert on the house.

Calamari was fantastic - it included deep fried peperoncini, which was amazing! My teenage son said it was one of the top 10 things he’s ever eaten in his life. Table side Cacio e Pepe, yes!! It was a fun experience to watch it prepared table side. 9 out of 10!! Tiramisu was light and flavorful. Great service as well. Overall wonderful dining experience. We’ll be back!

The service was great but there are a lot better place in the North End for the price. My significant other and I did the table side cacio e pepe it was good but for $36 you get a fist size serving of pasta which I felt was a rip off. My sister paid a lot less for the eggplant parm and got a decent portion.

A small Italian Restaurant in Boston's North End. Watched servers do tableside Cacio e Pepe and decided we would have to try it if we ever got back to Boston. Both my wife and I had great meals, enjoyed with glasses of Montepulciano. The restaurant has a limited liquor license, so only wine was available.Parking: Extremely limited. We chose to use Lyft.

Typical Varano group restaurant. Decent food, no regard for reservations, bottom of the barrel service. You’d think they are trying to drive away business it is comically bad.

We had heard great things about Nicos the food was in fact AMAZING and the staff were excellent from the moment we walked I. The door. However it was beyond EXTREMELY loud. The noise level was off the charts we had to literally yell at each other if we wanted to say something we could not hear our waitress had to keep asking her to repeat herself and the table of drunk girls at the table next to us were having extreamly inappropriate conversations for a dining room full of people. Again the staff and. The foods were AWSOME but something needs to be done about the noise level in there.

We had a fantastic dinner there tonight celebrating a milestone birthday. Robbie and the rest of the staff were just awesome. The food was just incredible. We will definitely be going back.

Outstanding food. My wife loves Gnocchi and ordered the Baked Gnoccetti, consisting of Semolina Gnocchi, creamy tomato sauce, mozzarella and roasted tomatoes. She declared it delicious. I ordered the Rigatoni Di Nico, freshly made rigatoni, which I think is right up there with the best rigatoni I have ever eaten, shrimp, scallops, peas and mushrooms, in a Truffle Cream Sauce. Both portions were more than adequate. We also got to watch them prepare several servings of Tableside Cascio e Pepe, which looked absolutely delicious. They only have a limited liquor license, so we both enjoyed a wonderful Montepulciano wine. If we're ever back in Boston we'll have to give that Cacio e Pepe a try.

We had a good dinner, my husband ordered cacio de pepe, which was prepared tableside -- very cool! Our waiter was great, very helpful, and there were plenty of busboys, etc to take care of us as well. One of our party is gluten-free, and all their pasta can be prepared gluten-free, so that was a treat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, pescatarian

Let me start by saying, we didn't have a resy and just walked up at 6pm. They seated us right away. The ambiance was my jam...lively upbeat music, the staff were very happy and extremely attentive. I can honestly say we had our favorite Italian meals here and we've been to Italy more times than we can count. My husband is Italian! The Linguini scampi was the best we have ever had! ❤️ The burrata and proscuitto hands down the most flavorful dish we've had. The bread was fresh and soft. The service could not matched.I would come back here in a heartbeat and come every week! It was that good! I would suggest a bigger wine list with less expensive options. We settled for a $95 Vino Nobile... but less than that was far and few. They are not big on dessert since they can't compete with the pastry shops within walking distance! One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to! Bravo Nico Ristorante! ?
